We ARE to "judge within" (meaning, we are to judge those who say they are a Christian...). We are not to "judge wihout". God judges those who have rejected salvation, the only way, through His Son, Jesus Christ.

But WE ARE to "test the spirits" and "judge within". People MISUSE TERRIBLY the "do not judge" and, usually, it's used by people living in sin.

Actually the difference was that David expressed genuine regret, remorse, sorrow, and a desire to repent. Saul just kept on with his stubborn ways doing what seemed "right" or "good" to him, without much consulting God.

Reguardless to what has happened the Word of God is true, and if we have a RELATIONSHIP with GOD, we won't get hung up about a vessels He uses. The only reason why people try to discredit God's vessels, is to disprove God's existance. That way they won't feel guilty about their own mess. Even if anyone proved her, or anyone to be a hypocrite, that has nothing to do with God's Word being true or knowing it's right to serve God. When we have A RELATIONSHIP, and we will find that out.

Hmm... he's referring to Gal 6:1-2, it's talking about a brother OVERTAKEN in a fault, not walking headlong into it. Elsewhere Scripture talks on the necessity for church discipline; eg T Weeks beating Juanita disqualifies him as a bishop.
