Amazing video, the theme very modern day mean streets or on the waterfront for urban lost soul living vicariously through funeral home suedehead nightclub band! Love it !
Gritty but with a sense of humour and I truly love the lyrics. I haven't read lyrics like this since Ziggy Stardust. It's no accident either, you are influenced by what goes on around you. Thankyou. Garce
Garce had nothing to do with this - I am the bass player in Sad Lovers & Giants and I know none of us were involved in this project....not sure how the reference to us in the lyrics arose but we're flattered if it's meant to be a reference to us....a sullen stream of music for funerals....sume us up nicely - LOL - no we're really much happier than that!!
i was thinking, wow, this sounds like the band My Favorite from my college years, and then I see the keyboard player closeup- isn't that Michael??????
Love you Guys!!
Peace
Pitti

If this song is any indication of the band's output, their songwriting is on par with Prefab Sprout and Belle and Sebastian. Thoroughly enjoyable.

The soccer chant of 'We are not really here' is from Manchester City...who were Ian Curtis' team. Underdog meta.
