  • nice, straightforward and easy to understand explanation. Thanks

  • jurassic park amber ha ha ha.

  • well i have a question:

a current of 4.5 A flows in a car headlamp bulb for 20 minutes.

a)calculate the total charge that passes through the filament.

b)how many electrons pass a given point in the during this time?

    a) Q=4.5*1200=5400C

    b) i figure out that it should be 5400/(1.6*10^-19) but its wrong.could any1 please help me with the answer ? ?

  • It's not wrong. That's the right number.

    To look at it another way, 1 A means 1 C/s which means 6.24x10^18 e/s sof 4.5 A is 2.81x10^19 e/s so over 20 min that's 3.37x10^22 e - it's a big number but it's right

  • thanks alot..it also turned out that theres a formula Q=N.E , where Q is the charge , N the number of electrons and E the charge on the the electron,so our calculations are absolutely right.thanks again.

  • I think posting comments about videos is useless and waste of time. but first time you video compelled me to do so. its simply fantastic and best............

  • Cool~
