הבנאים הפכו את הטקסט הזה למשהו טהור קדוש ועדין, ועם כל הכבוד ליהודים שנתנו ביצוע נחמד אין מקום להשוואה.

בדיסק החדש "כמו אגם רוגע" מצוי אוסף מענג של מיטב השירים של מאיר .

בהופעה החיה המוקלטת בדיסק יש עיבודים המשנים את אווירת השיר (כמו: לב סדוק), הנימה הפעם סלחנית יותר, כואבת יותר. יש עיבודים ותוספות למלים. אהבתי במיוחד את השינוי בסופו של השיר המצוין "גשם". ידועות המלים: "שיסתכלו עלי, רק עלי". הפעם חותם מאיר במלים :גם עליי. מוכרחה לציין שתמיד המלים "רק עליי" הפריעו לי. סוף דבר: מי שרוצה לקבל את מיטב השירים של בנאי בסל אחד ירווה נחת מהאוסף החדש.
