I don't anchor from the bow always from the stern so for me no need to have the trolley running around the yak is this what you mean ?

Most people like the option of positioning, the entire length of the Yak, but fairplay, if you only ever anchor from the stern......

I've never fished from a kayak, although I'm in the process of ordering an good inflatable (no car so need something portable). Do you spin from a kayak, or are you using float tackle?

HI you can fish any way you want from a yak as long as its safe, so you will have to be very careful with hooks and sharp fishing implements and make sure you have a all safety equipment good luck

Thanks. The kayak I've gone for has a heavy duty polyester jacket over the outer chambers (the Sevylor Ranger), so I'm not concerned about punctures from hooks. Fishing knives are another matter. I hope to spin for mackerel.

Spearfishing is good around the bay on a westly, I have a spare gun to can loan if you ever want to have a go. Spearfishing from your yak will open up a whole new experiance, I use my scrambler xt for those hard to get spots. by the way,,, whats the song in this clip?

Nice one Rob!!! You cant beat Meadfoot for the fishing. I spearfish that area from time to time and hjad some loverly pollack. Keep up the good work
