@ImJayOwen Perhaps to improve the appearance of the bay? Don't want to stick the intake behind the radiator. Coulda tucked it toward the battery tray, too. But I think it looks nice the way it is. I imagine they've got some decent reasoning to support the decision.

@ItchyKneeSon Yeah, I guess keeping everything closer to the engine looks better with the shaved bay theme, but performance wise I'd want that filter as far away from the engine heat as I could.

@ImJayOwen I vote for a snorkel that runs through the front badge. Just remove the radiator. They'll get plenty of cool breezes to the intake that way. :)
