To me there's room for all the many versions of Batman. What's great about Batman beyond all other characters is that he CAN be reimagined and redone and still, at the core, be himself. I can see where some would be worried that this show would have the same effect on the character that the 60's show did I think we're beyond that now. :)

thank you guys this show really deserved this. i figure if your gonna go out, at least go in style, not by some random canceling (i'm looking at you fox) nothing ever really dies, if anything this show proved that. look at all the golden age characters that got a new life thanks to this series, hell this show even let batman beyond and 60's batman come back in some way. characters have new hope at movies and shows (booster gold syfy, blue beetle CN, aquaman movie.

This is seriously the most touching, moving series finale I've seen in animation. It really makes you think about what makes a show great. It isn't fancy animation, season spanning storylines, or even dark dramatic characters.

What makes a show great, is heart. And the Brave and the Bold had a lot of it. Kudos to the staff, for sticking with the show even when we didn't. You put out a great three seasons.

As funny as it was to see Booster Gold hitting on Cheetah in the background, I would've liked to see him mingle with The Ted Kord Blue Beetle. I can't get over how they've never been teamed up in any animated form before.

Interesting, nowadays Batman is always dark, except this version. I found that it was a perfect way to present Batman with a lighter more humorous side to him. Sure it wasn't the gritty Batman that so many people are used to, but on the whole, it still is Batman and thus was an awesome rendition of him.

And now it's gone. 'sigh' I hope the next Batman series is good whether or not it's like this one. But I'm sure we all will remember this one as being the lighter side of Batman.

I think this is one of the most bittersweet yet heartwarming endings for a series ever. I suppose it's like a party nobody wanted to end. But, in the end, the fact that we had it at all was what mattered. It's been a great run, and though I'm sad to see it go, we'll always have the memory of a brighter, wackier Gotham City. It's truly amazing just how well this show came out. It showed the world that Batman could be more than another hero - he could be a hero anywhere, no matter what. It managed to be truly all-ages. It created its own logic and lived by it. And now, it's gone.
