tzr is one of the worst 50cc's ever... not 'cause of the look (it's pretty beautiful IMO) but it's got an unbelievable 113kg dry-weight... that's 10kg MORE than my 4-stroke 125cc-yamaha! back in the days, a 50cc used to be between 70 and 80kg...

@enkuenku i have a tzr myself and i'm very pleased with it. Although the GPR looks the nicest. if you're going to tune it i suggest the tzr. I only took the pipe from the exhaust out and changes the little pipe where the needle goes into in the carburator to 105mm. i'm sry i'm not familiar with the english terms for these. But if you're getting a newer bike they probably have fuel injection insted of a carburator. in that case i'm not sure of the tuning part

@enkuenku hmm theyre all good, I ride a GPR Nude and I also had an TZR, but it doesn't really matter, just pick the one you like the most.

AM6 = good and Derbi = good aswell, both have cons and pros.

your running it past the redline (12krpm), i am telling you now, your engine will explode if you keep it up.

When your running it that fast the cilinder is getting very hot, which in turn moves the solvent layer between the piston and cilinder away, causing a rapid expansion of the cilinder.

I know you can do top-end rebuilds, but if you head is damaged your more likely going to sell the bike rather than pay up for a new 1.

The frame is build for 125cc (same as the Yamaha TZR 125cc and 250cc) and has 125cc brakes :) The tires are 125cc and the rear tire is even bigger then a Honda CBR 125cc

The bike goes out of the production line with a top speed of about 90 km/h. The cilinders on the motorblok (am6) is already a fast 50cc cilinder. (Gilardoni 2)

Unlike The Netherlands, they import these yamaha's and then restrict these bikes till they ride really shit. 40-50km/h
