  • Great compilation! Your opening shots are truly sublime.

  • @videowilliams Thanks it was a good morning :)

  • Gorgeous, David. Your channel is a paradise. I miss the desert. We are still remodeling houses and have not had time to travel again. Can't wait to go to Summerlake Hot Spring resort, they made it a green resort with solar panels on all roofs, and hot springs floor heating and all natural. I love it. There are videos about Summerlake here on YouTube that's how I found it. But I also miss Death Valley region of course.

  • @KennyReddwooddforest I just looked at their website. The rates are pretty good and the place looks great. Geothermal heated floors is a great bonus too :)

  • @davidsquall351 Yeah, I looked their website up too and I love it. The rooms are expensive. But we will travel in an RV and the RV spots are very reasonable with full hookups. Can't wait to go. Are you going to visit them? Do you travel with car of RV? They have this large swimming pool with 100 degrees and its covered with a roof that is partly torn off. The pool is built into an old barn house. Absolutely fantastic. I hope we will be done with the remodeling soon so we can go there. ;0)

  • @KennyReddwooddforest Next time I go up there I will make it a stop for sure. I drive my small truck and tent camp with a hotel here and there. Remodeling can wait go now...lol

  • @davidsquall351 Hello David, Oh, I wish we could just go there with the old motor home but Paul thinks it will break down, its from 1989. Winnebago 28 feet. We need to sell it and buy a new one. Truck and camper is what Paul wants, too. But we have Kenny and it would be too narrow for him to sleep in the camper. I had the chance to buy a huge Encore Motor Home in 2004 but I was afraid of the high payments. I should have bought it. But it does not go off road. I will let you know when we go.

  • Awesome!! Love every shots. Wanted to be a geologist, the valley, and just about everywhere along the 395, are like natural made Disneyland : ). And, I will stop at Bodie on my next trip up the hwy. Thank you for sharing beautiful experiences on your trip!

  • @tytytji I know sometimes its hard to choose where to stop...lol

  • Love the fog! There's something in the fog! Some THING! :)

  • @NotSoOldHippy Where!WHERE!!?

  • are navy beach hs soakable?

  • @losangelesswimmin No, there is a sign next to it saying "No Swimming, No Nudity" I read somewhere its because of bacteria. It looks great to soak but I didnt.

  • cool trip. was it cold up there and did you come accross any fishermen in the area?

  • @PHARRAOH Yeah it was cold at night. I had frost on my tent the first night. Tons of fishermen were on The Owens river by Hot creek and up Bishop creek. It looked like a fly fishing postcard on Bishop creek :)

  • Wow.....awesome! Love the second shot and the one with the moon at Navy Beach. Neat church too!

  • @luvwestern Thanks. The second shot was at Little hot creek. Sunrise there is great when its cold in the morning steam everywhere.

  • awesome awesome video footage!!!

  • @enjoythewildUSA Thanks

  • The shot at 1:45 is awesome man! I didn't know there were hot springs in that neck of the woods either! Head up to Yosemite while in the area?

  • @Sheety33 Nope, I havent been there in a while. Maybe this winter.

  • Im heading up 395 tomorrow. Where is that Buttermilk falls? Is that right there on the left side of the climbing areas of the Butermilks? If so I don't recognize that fall. Never even knew there was much water in there. And how about a hot springs that me and the dog can be comfy in? other than Keough... Im going all the way up 395 as far as 89 and then turning left up to Markleeville. Then over the hill to Sacramento and up 101 to Santa Rosa.

  • @mobiltec Little Hot Creek in the Long Valley? Didn't know about that either... Where is it? Can you get into it or is it too hot?

  • @mobiltec Sent a pm

  • I heart the 395. We just went the very beginning of Oct too! Our destination was Devil's Postpile/Rainbow Falls though. You are so good at finding all the hot springs!

  • @SarahsAdventures Cool the postpile is neat. Rainbow Falls is huge too. There is a hot spring at Reds Meadow right next to trail from the postpile. I missed it last time I was there.

  • Sweet drive what a great trip. That ghost town is creepy but I could make it work.

    Schmoo

  • @MichiganTNP Yeah I need to check that place out some more.
