First, it will not be clear. Selan will prompt him to get a little bit closer...until finally, the image of the TROLL FACE reflects back.

I'm pretty sure he then gets the Sinistrals to quit the game in frustration if I remember the story correctly, amid racial slurs (they are, after all, not human I think? Well he thinks), words inappropriate for children (but used by them anyway), and total confusion. Human race wins! Sort of.

But that translation is unnecessary, since the spelling [Hi] [Do] [Ra] is perfectly fine, "ヒードラ" "is" how the japanese would pronounce it. I've heard that pronunciation in several anime.

Though, I'll probably be doing a LOT of money grinding to that end. Probably just hold off on the end-game equipment buying in those towns you went to until I'm actually directed to go to those places.

Yay! We finally get the almighty Zap spell. It's my favorite spell in the game. Why? Because I love saying. "Now, I'm going to ZAP the enemy into OBLIVION!!! HA, HA, HA!!!!" Yeah, I know it's stupid, but if you can't have fun with a game, why play it, right? :D

you know i have an issue with the beer in that game but atleast you can change an option that removes the ability for beer to make the screen hazy still have the enemy level effect you can't swim or fly right and the screen like uber zooms out

@HCBailly You really should give them a shot sometime, though. I'm not saying you should LP them, but it doesn't hurt to give them the old college try. Both games have their flaws, but there's some really good things about them too. Lufia 4(The Ruins of Lore) is alot more like Lufia 2 then the 3rd one is, but I thought the 3rd one was excellent. The only thing I hated about it was the randomly generated dungeons. They had them randomly generate in like the most boring way possible too.

Y'know, I just realized something...

Lufia II might be the basis for the most absolutely perfect JRPG ever, in terms of overall mix of gameplay elements: No random encounters (except on the world map), plenty of puzzles (rather than just running through a dungeon) and a nigh-infinite post-game (Ancient Cave) , as well as minimal level grinding. I'd love to see more RPGs with Zelda-like puzzle elements.

This comment makes me really curious about both your age and location in the US. I'm 28, have lived in several states, and "playing with" has never been a Euphemism for sex in my experience. If and only if it's used as part of the phrase "playing with yourself," then it has a sexual meaning. If I said I was playing with my wife, someone would ask me what game. I'd have to say something really blatant like "I was playing with my wife's body" for it to be sexual in meaning.

@GuardianWolf961 Due to the nature of the Japanese written language when you write Hydra using the Japanese shorthand (in this case katakana because it is a word of non-Japanese origin) it comes out as either "ヒードラ" or "ヒャドラ". Breaking those down they become Haadora ヒ[Ha]ー[elongated vowell]ド[Do]ラ[Ra] or Hyadora ヒャ[Hya] ド[Ro] ラ[Ra].

So its not even a mistranslation, just a more literal one.

@FREAKYFISHGUYTV See I wouldn't consider fallout a fps at all. First off it wasnt until 3 that they even made it 1st person at all. Second It doesnt really mater how good your aim is since there is VATS. Fallout 3 and New Vegas is more or less Oblivon with guns lol
