XP Home has the Address Bar hidden by default you can unhide it though.
If you right click on the toolbar area of the Windows Explorer and click "Lock the toolbars" so that it is no longer checked.
Now right click in the same area again, this time make sure that "Address Bar" is checked. You will see the address bar appear on the side of the Standard Buttons toolbar, just drag it to below the "Standard Buttons" toolbar. Then relock the toolbars. Close out, which will save your changes.

System, Advanced Settings to get the System properties window or right click the desktop icon "Computer" and select properties, Advanced Settings. From there, click the Advanced tab and follow the directions below.
To make a copy of the path variable, open a command prompt and type: echo %path% > mypath.txt then exit. Set JAVA_HOME according to SUN. On Windows XP Browse to the Java JDK directory. Mine is: C:\Program Files\Java\jdk1.6.0_10 Copy the path. Desktop, Right Click My Computer > Properties, or click Start > Control Panel > System Advanced Tab > Environment Variables Click New, Name: JAVA_HOME value: Paste the path. Continued next comment
Now Set the JRE path Browse to the JRE folder Mine is C:\Program Files\Java\jre6 Copy the path Open the system properties if it is closed Create a new variable name: JRE value: paste the JRE path here Click Ok Edit the Path variable Add the following to its value: ;%JAVA_HOME%\bin;%JRE%\bin Click Ok Click ok to close the properties dialog.

My previous post differs from the video. The video was done as an assignment. What I posted below is what SUN recommends.
