@helloiamtao Had to be about 1998 if Franz Stahl is the guitarist. He didn't fit in and was fired just before Nothing Left to Lose was recorded in 1999. Stahl only toured with the band for a short time, was replaced by Chris Shiflett, who's still with the band. Pat Smear, who left in 1997, just after Colour and Shape, came back to tour for In Your Honor and Skin and Bones and has been a regular ever since, playing on Echoes, Silence.. and Wasting Light.

@Dabomb1237 Not long after The Colour and the Shape when Pat left the band. The Foos recruited one guitarist (forget his name--the guy in the video) to go on tour. In a recent Foos documentary, it seemed like this guy didn't fit in w the band. He got the boot before NLTLose, and Chris Shifflett joined just after and has been with them ever since. Pat came back to tour with the band during the In Your Honor tour and for Skin and Bones, and has been a regular again since ESP&Grace.

@abstarb first of all white limo is terrible and I dont care much for it at all. Second wasting light is such a good album as it has been described as so often as bringing the band back to their roots. Songs like back and forth, arlandria and rope all have that classic foos tune that I love to hear.. and thirdly Walk is possibly one of the best songs I have ever heard from the foos which reminds me of hey, JP with its smooth melody through the verse and then a powerful chorus and ending
