Oh BtW cams that take Flash cards(SD cards) are why better.. you can buy an 8 GB card and record for hours.... Flips are Crap.. get a Kodak Zi8

no its not, there is no set definition. it could mean 1080i, or 1080p, or even the audio.

Sorry that no onew responded... I will try to answer as best as I can...

1) Yes, you can stop recording (by pressing the red button) and start again almost instantly.

2) I THINK you are reffering to the USB drive that is attached to the camera, used for charging and uploading content.

3) Yes! The Flip MinoHD will work with all Mac computers!

4) I believe that the software has since updated...

5) From what I have heard, the mic is omnidirectional, which means it will be very good.

However, it is threaded to work with any "standard" tripod...

MochaGirl: Yes, the Flip MINO HD is compatible with the Mac software. I use a Mac too. The older version used to shoot in AVI format, which was a PC-friendly format.
