Umm.. The Ursus Maritimus is not endangered.. Nor has it even been endangered!! Actually, we really dont know their exact population (15,000-25,000).. Global warming has happened to our planet 5 times before. Al Gore's house uses 130x more energy than the average home. Trees and plants BREATHE Co2.. and Cow farts comprise 30% of co2 emissions..

@BomaBoi They are listed as vulnerable by the IUCN red list. :( It doesn't mean they are considered endangered yet but they are declining rapidly so there is great concern. Also, misinformation doesn't always mean wrong, but sometimes misleading, ie. it doesn't tell the whole story.

Their numbers use to dwell below 5000, but now they soar above 20,000-25,000!!. These beautiful animals are making a come back! =) And I am sick and tired of people saying they are dying all the time. ><!! THEY ARE NOT dying. They are thriving. And 75% of them dont live on ice, rather on really cold land.

Science daily and Professor J. Scott Armstrong from University of Pennsylvania dispute the finding from the USGS department of interior's study. According to the Polar Bear Specialist Group, their population has increased from 5.000-10,000 to 25,000 =)
