President Obama was no doubt the winner. He had the right policies in my opinion but he trusted the republicans and was led into a false sense of conviction that the current tax policy would work out for the best. If he had follow through robustly on his tax policy, the economy would be recovering faster. I don't see why he should not get 4 more years, especially with the current GOP field of candidates.
McCain was clearly the fall guy in this election. Two occurrences happen. Selecting Palin and suspending his campaign to supposedly help the 08 economic crisis. Two enormous blunders in which was transparent to some at the time. Funny thing is 4 years later, I can say non of the policies which where put into practice worked.
McCain screwed himself when he didn't deny that he wanted to give tax breaks to big businesses like Exxon as well. He should have denied that and gone against it. Obama has the wrong idea as well. Cutting taxes on anyone drives our country further into debt. We need to increase taxes all around. Yes, it will be harder on everyone. However, it will set future plans in motion to reduce the debt we're in. On a different note, I'm leaving the country before social security hits.

President Obama was no doubt the winner. He had the right policies in my opinion but he trusted the republicans and was led into a false sense of conviction that the current tax policy would work out for the best. If he had follow through robustly on his tax policy, the economy would be recovering faster. I don't see why he should not get 4 more years, especially with the current GOP field of candidates.

Two enormous blunders in which was transparent to some at the time. Funny thing is 4 years later, I can say non of the policies which where put into practice worked.

McCain screwed himself when he didn't deny that he wanted to give tax breaks to big businesses like Exxon as well. He should have denied that and gone against it. Obama has the wrong idea as well. Cutting taxes on anyone drives our country further into debt. We need to increase taxes all around. Yes, it will be harder on everyone. However, it will set future plans in motion to reduce the debt we're in. On a different note, I'm leaving the country before social security hits.

@dewycatt2112 Both are legends. We can agree on that but it is a fact that if it weren't for Hendrix we wouldn't have players like Eddie Van Halen,Stevie Ray Vaughan, Jimmy Page and so on. Would we? Eddie says in an interview he was more influenced by Clapton more than Hendrix. It can be said Hendrix started the whole thing and Eddie finished it so I'm not going to argue. Both Eddie and Jimi are legends but Hendrix will always be in the top 5. We can agree on that. You can look it up.

@dewycatt2112 I just want to say this. You'll notice that Hendrix was left handed. He's playing the guitar upside down. You know how difficult that is? It's not just the guitar playing but also his SONGWRITING ability that makes him unbelievable. Hendrix was the best ever. I mean you'll never see anybody as good as Jimi Hendrix. He was the peak. Eddie Van Halen is excellent...really excellent but he's not Hendrix. Nobody will ever beat Jimi Hendrix.

This is what people don't understand. The only drawback of the Obama presidency is that he's had to compromise so much with the Conservatives in the Senate that we haven't benefited from the Liberal things that he wanted to do with the country. So much of his first term has been nothing but meandering because the Senate folded their hands and sat on them. He's a great president because while he ran as a visionary, he runs as a functionalist. That's the only President we can have.

If that unemployment rate starts to go down before 2012, I can see Obama win. I'm not justifying Mr.Obama and his opponent.
