Wow nice looking tri-axle for the greens Amrep in beginning...Cool Volvo hope to see more of him especially...although he seemed slow lol. And I do actually like that RR it's one of the first we've seen where the company finally decided to get the chrome grille rather than the all-black kind which everybody else has. Truly a neat-looking truck. And CNG tanks look better on that body for some reason, I like the taller appearence. Awesome post, keep showing us trucks!
The Amrep ASl is from 2009, I know about cuz I have folks in the SGV who got one of these trucks when they came straight out of Ontario, only it had basic lighting and no tag. The Volvo is either ex LA or ex WM, the truck seems to be from 1997. It could go the way of the Rainbow FLs due to laws this year. As for the ACX-RR, that beast is freakin amazing, it's less than a month old. These RRs will probably overtake the entire Athens fleet leaving only CNG Amreps.

Dang! First truck has grip AND flip! haha and its a beuaty! Is the Volvo one of the trucks which is gone now? And I assume all those stacks of manual bins were out for Athens to haul away since there of now use? Great video!
@3amrepmike3 yup they have crazy grips, and even the rapid rails have grips. they squeeze the carts too tight. the volvo is one of the old trucks that used to operate in la canada area and i guess they are using it here now until the new ones arrive?. and yes the manual carts had "recycle me" sticker on them for collection. Those bins were collected by a McNeilus Mack chassis Fl and a Wittke Autocar FL, which i have yet to get footage of, maybe next week. thanks
