Unfortunately, many of us are NOT stupid and have been voting for Ron Paul every time he's run, but the masses are stupid in every country, and right now, they're scared, which gives whichever campaign that is the most comfortable for the general public the biggest advantage. 911 fucked up our sense of liberty, and allowed our population to give up freedoms for promise of security.
