  • Hey can I cuddle you

  • I am very surprised you'd only get affected so late, but that's rare diseases for you.

I hope you get others around you to understand more, and it was a very nice explanation. I've never really thought about it like that before.

  • :(

  • Who would dislike this video?

  • Comment removed

  • so it just comes and goes yeh? (referring to the video where you jumped up and ran to door, with no apparent issue, i do believe that can happen though dont get me wrong, just saying) Also its kinda cool that it didn't effect your shoulders, wrists and hands referring to all the PC usage), so you dont get so bored just sitting around .

  • @TonyMon16 Once we hit the hallway I twisted my knee and fell, Sammy got pretty mad at me... I'm physically capable of doing things like that, but I suffer repercussions both immediate and long term. Example: I danced ALL night at Sammy's wedding two years ago. I was healthier then, but even so I was in agony, but it was a once in a lifetime event. I also spent the next week unable to get out of bed, and with all my joints horribly swollen. Much of EDS is about prevention. Does that make sense?

  • I feel the same about my medical problem, it's not half as physically debilitating but does cause me lots of problems. It's called SAD and it causes a lot of issues with my daily life. At it's worst I won't even be able to get myself to step outside my apartment. It's all in my head I know, but I find it hard to tell people about. I look fine on the outside, but to generalize it I am constantly tense and nervous around people. :/

  • You're a warrior, keep that chin up!

  • hey i found you off athenes video this may be a stupid question why do people with complications continually get more and the second question is when you did sports did you feel anything while running like knee pain or some sort

thanks and sorry if i offended you in anyway

  • @iluvpvp Yeah actually I had horrible chest pains, shin splints, and pain in my knees, hips, and ankles... but I was raised that pain is mental and you just ignore it, so I did. If I complained I was ignored or punished. I just assumed everyone felt the way I did, yanno?

  • I'd like to punch the 9 people who disliked this in the face.

  • Take care of you :). I would love to visit you ... but I am in another country T_T

  • Thanks for killing a few of my prejudices :)

  • Miss glass... (ref unbreakable)

  • @ChillAtWill I don't know if i should like or dislike... cause its generally don't think it's very nice but I do like the fact that you are so open is awesome...

I have am sickboy my self so i really understand where u come from and I think its even mor awesome that you have found your center at such a young age...! major props!

  • Hi Isabelle, I just wanted you to know you are an inspiration. I have Crohn's disease and it's hard to live with as well. Crohn's too is a genetic disorder. Some people get Crohns and they can still live normal lives. Other people, like me, get Crohns and their life stops. I too have to walk with a cane and the time is coming where I'll need a wheel chair as well. Unfortunately though I may not be able to get disability with Crohns even though my condition is severe.

  • I know exactly how you feel as I too am young, only 33. Like EDS, those who suffer from Crohns also don't always look like they're sick. Most days I can barely move because of the debilitating pain. I can barely eat anything and most things don't stay down when I eat.

Just know that you're not alone and that there are people out there who are by your side. Take care darlin.

  • Inspirational Person. -3

  • You are a beautiful person. Keep making vids you have a new fan!

  • "can't stop the signal" :D

    hello from Belgium!!!

    'wish you the best!

  • There are so many different illnesses that people can have. People who dont have an illness generally dont overy want to know lots about every single one of them. Call it ignorance but its the way it is. You shouldnt get offended if you get accused of joy riding when you look fine and can clearly atleast stand up. 99% of people who can do those things are perfectly healthy so why wouldnt it look like joy riding. Life is alot more fun when your laid back and take life less seriously.

  • @St3v3z Its one thing to assume I MIGHT be joy riding, and ask me, wherein I would gladly explain... Its another to verbally attack me in public without knowing anything about me. Especially with the kind of language that this particular lady used.

  • @FragileWithSpunk Well, ofcourse people should always be respectful to others until given a reason to be less gracious. But i mean, you said it yourself, the stereotype of a disabled person, or a person that needs the help of a scooter to get around is a person with a visable disability. Seeing a normal looking ( and pretty ;) ) young girl riding a scooter, stand up to grab something would look like a joy rider on first glance to most people. But yeah, rudeness is certainly not needed at all.

  • A few of my friends have the same problem. They have invisible diseases, like arthritis or cystic fibrosis, and they run into the same problems you do. They feel guilty about having a friend over with their house a mess.

  • She looks like Rachel McAdams

  • progressive illness..life-long condition...1secbrb w/ cure --

  • you are amazing!

  • Can I just say thank you because it's really interesting to know about these things and good luck in the future

  • :)

  • Your kind of awesome not only have you learnt to cope but i was watching your stream, you should BAWLS of steel whilst playing amnesia, you may be a gamer but your still a girl which a lot of people lose out and they came through two fold during the sims, and finally your geeky you could easily list everything your computer had which not even my Fiancé can do and shes on an advanced computer course. Good Luck and i hope to see more content in the future =D

  • @ANDR3WR1CKARD Showed*

  • wow EDS sucks hope u survive!

  • Excellent song choice btw. Look forward to the unboxing...

  • <3 Alot of respect for you. Insportational <3

  • you are a perfect role model

  • grettings from mexico :DDD

  • Such an inspiration.

  • This is why i tell people that the Youtube and gaming community is better than no other, congrats on the wheelchair!

  • <3

  • what a idiot you have to be to dislike this?

  • .....and u r a lovely person^

  • If you expect nothing from anybody, you’re never disappointed. Sometimes you will get a lot from the unexpected.

  • Man that really sucks, sad freaking story. I mean over night your life is completely changed, thats why everyone should be thankful for that what we have today, cuz some people dont have the luxury

  • Thank you for the vid. Definitely changes my perspective on a few things (the joyriding thing especially). My girlfriend suffers severe migraines so I've gotten accustomed to the invisible illnesses you speak about. It's a hard thing to relate to people who don't know. Long story short, we should all be more compassionate and inquisitive before passing judgement on others.

  • @TheShiboe Migraines are so hard, too, because they hit at random, last god knows how long, and can be really hard to treat. Usually caffeine helps, but for me at least, I can't have caffeine! :( Hugs to your lady.

  • @FragileWithSpunk They actually often have a trigger. For my GF, her life was saved by a holistic center that determined she was allergic to wheat (gluten) and corn (in most everything processed). Now they are mostly under control (stress and light sensitivity still play a part). My cousin also cured his by going vegan. Diet plays a huge role (in many things); I would encourage everyone to be more open w/ their body. Many people have allergies/intollerances and don't know it.

  • ATHENE TTTT

  • i hope you find a guy that willing to spend alot relax time with you on V-day :) you desver it :)

  • Omg how can some1 dislike this..i think youtube should put donate instead of dislike for this video.

  • your absoultly beautiful inside and out

  • Is your problem something more extreme measures might help, like taking HGH? It would sound like a more effective treatment than vitamin C at least.

  • thanks.ive never heard of this but i do now

  • Hey Izzy :) i briefly talked to you on your stream last night, i have eds type 3 too :) i have basically all the symptoms you have, but not as severe. I'm 15 years old and i was put into hospital a while back from an injury that i had sustained in rugby, that kept coming back. So i turned to gaming too ;D! just wanted to say keep on doing what you're doing and you've gained another subscriber :D

  • It gives me pain watching this. I think about my own problems and what I need to work on but not stressing it. In a way by you speaking about this you're helping me understand how importent some things are in life. I realy want things to become better for you if it helps im listening to your problems. Don't let these selfish immature people stop you from saying you own feelings in the end of the day they can't do the same. They're trying to hide their own.

  • hope u can walk as usual :D

  • Check with your doctor to see if you're healthy enough for

  • you are cute. cant get around well? piggy back rides for freeeeeeeeee!!!!

  • :( stay strong

  • Fuck sake, I think I felt in love,

  • Hey Kitten - came here from lol vids, but I am a 5th year med student, and this was very interesting to hear - great for learning. Thanks, and best of luck!

  • Respect for you!

  • Your one of many..

  • Stay strong!

  • Congrats! Never give up!

  • all ways nice to help a beautiful fellow gamer out :)

  • People suck. Individual persons may be great, and you'll meet lots. Any one who doesn't want to be friends with you because of EDS will lose the chance to make a great friend. I think you wear your alias well, you have spunk.

  • i like that little batman symbol in the back lol your inspiring

  • Man you an such a strong person....inspirational...

  • Donate for that girl, she have the chair but + help won't be bad

  • You're beautiful

  • i am really glad for you. ive watched the whole thing on athene's stream and i really support you for being so inspiring and strong :) i really like your personality and opinion. congrats on getting money for a wheelchair im really happy about it and i hope to see unboxing vid soon! :D i actaully cant wait for it! B) keep it up i will always be stalking your channel! so i hope to see more and more vids in the future :) im glad to know you.

  • How are Fpsrussia's videos related to this?

  • @Zenko55 PaintballKitty is part of FPSRussia and has claimed me as hers. :P

  • o_o... daaaammmmnnnn

  • saw you on athenes channel TTTT

  • Izzy, you have given me such inspiration. I too suffer from an invisible illness, and understand completely where you are coming from! No one really understands what its like to deal with the bs of " oh well you don't look like you are hurt or sick". It hurts, especially when it comes out of mouthed of people that are close and supposed to support you no matter what. 3 you too Izzy!!

  • Congrats on the wheelchair. At any rate.. I heard vitamin C helps? Like huge doses?

  • @pnutbutternjelo I am not Gangplank. :)

  • @FragileWithSpunk Gankplank was my fav char. Or at least was when I played... or maybe I have no idea what is going on... most likely the last. :( Pirates are cool!

  • @FragileWithSpunk Wait, so oranges actually don't give the magical K vitamin either? You know, the one you have when you are k.

  • @FragileWithSpunk LOL. Well, it does get him out of immobility.. hehe. But I heard that collagen is part of the walls of the blood vessels, and with low vitamin C, it results in leaks. The leaks trigger an increase in cholesterol production from the liver which then results in blocking the leaks, but also heart problems. There's a German doctor who claims to cure heart diseases through vitamin C, a precursor to collagen. I've seen diet reversing diabetes type 1 and 2, I hope this at least helps

  • @FragileWithSpunk Isn't there a treatment? I'm sure we can help you raise money.

    You're awesome btw.

  • @FragileWithSpunk OMG that reference made me laugh :D congratz on chair

  • man when i hard about your heart problems i bursted into tears

  • when i watch this i cry every time i really fill sorry for you

  • I rly look up to you!

You are a really strong personality!

Most people with such disease try to hide it and will never talk about it openly and I think like You thats part of the reason why so few people know about these "hidden diseases"

Anyways I wish you the best of luck in the future!

  • 9 people work at Wallmart.

  • Could you explain the meaning behind "FragilewithSpunk"?

  • @krj2009 I'm fragile in my body, but my personality is spunky and upbeat!

  • @FragileWithSpunk Hey Issy, Thanks for the great vids and your straight talking. I've learnt something today from you and I thank you for that. Don't let the small minded cretins get you down :) subbed and looking forward to your next vids and wishing you all the best :)

  • @FragileWithSpunk Thanks! What kind of games do you play?

  • So what else can we do to help you out? Wheel chair, check. What's next?

  • @Maniac742 YES ATHENE! WE MUST GO FARTHER!

  • @Maniac742 It's times like this i really love the gaming community and im happy for being a part of such good selfless group of peoples where we (i think) understand eachother much better than other types of groups.

  • Thanks for sharing this and teaching me something. I feel the greatest block is people making assumptions based upon limited knowledge. The world needs people like you with the courage to educate us.

  • I just wanted to say...You are beautifull person, inside and out.

  • I share my light with you hun. Be you be true Nameste

  • thank you.. made me cry out of nowhere.. and i don't normally cry of sadness

  • Never give up girl. I will always support you. :>

  • You remind me of my friend Stu who has a type of ME looks fine and great on the surface.

    But the pain underneath:(

Glad the chair was sorted out please show us some cool pix of it:)

    hugs to all.

  • We got your back, Never give up girl!

  • @Hmiskoumprio karma is a bitch bro.....

  • @Hmiskoumprio Your a nasty piece of work you know that, your health can be taken in an instance remember that!!!

  • @Hmiskoumprio Question is how long you will be healthy if you keep hating ;) people gonna find you

  • @Hmiskoumprio You are a dog

  • @Hmiskoumprio fore youre sake i hope not to many people will see youre remark => it can have bad consequenses for u in the near future. it will not take long before people who make bad inhumane remarks to face the consequenses. best fore you to do is to look deep inside youreself and realize that what you put out into this world is what you are inside :-x try to find more love fore youreself => you need it :-) peace

  • Great video with a lot of good information.

  • You are a very Strong Person because your taking it well and Learning to Deal with it not like ths WEAK people that go and dislike videos because thr bad at life.Peace out

  • Do they give you Gabapentin(neurontin) Or lyrica(pregabalin), It treats fibromyalgia, I take it for my fibromyalgia and it works wonders.

  • very well said, and yes you are beautiful

  • Fighting!!

  • thump up if athene brings u here

  • Rock on Izzy !! I now have a hero to look up to . Thank you : )

  • Show legs plz

  • Do you die from EDS?

  • @generalwhitexoxo You can if you have vascular type of EDS. But Izzy had hypermobility type 3, EDS. That's what I have, I also have some classic. I never seen a vascular case though.

  • U r sweet and dont give up. =)

  • good luck hopefully you will keep ur head up strong for the rest of ur life

  • Batman! Behind her right shoulder, he is always watching!

  • What events did you do in track????

  • Hey kittey! the video where you get bombed by Athene you were listening to the sorta music i love when trying to relax with a round of LoL, would you mind telling me what radio station you used / and or list a few bands? sorry for the trouble if you need to check your own video to remember! just realy relaxing music

  • i love how honest you are :) thats really great advice for anyone in any circumstance really.

  • R u gna walk again ?

  • As one who also suffers from a very different 'invisible' disease I can agree with this video extremely strongly I have learnt that people for the most part don't understand and have no interest to.

  • i very much understand what your talking about and i understand what you feel to, i got an "invisseble illness" to but mine is very diffrend. I got autism if i say it correctly, its not really an illness but it affects the way your brain thinks of certain things and it affects how you react with the outher world. It was very hard for me to learn to live with it so i clearly understand your feelings :) I hope the best for you and i think it is awesome that athene helped you get the wheelchair!!

  • The way you tell your story is very inspirational, you seem like a very strong and intelligent person. If you start to edit some gameplay or random video's I'm sure you would get plenty of views & new subscribers. I'll be keeping an eye out. Good luck!

  • omg this is really touching! im so glad i donated for your wheelchair! thank you!

  • so touchting story:(

  • Holy shit, saying that so factually, you're strong as hell. I got blinded in one eye, and it still upsets me every day, when I can't get around in the dark, pour drinks, etc. But you're boss-mode. Keep it up!

  • Very nice speech. what you said does not only apply to EDS but a lot of others "invisible" deseases :) and also nice music tastes! Keep that smile

  • Your a beautiful girl that has amazing guts to post a video about yourself. Well done. Best of luck in the future with all your videos.

Its great to see people trooping on with life despite the obstacles!

  • Hey, im moving to costa rica, if u come down this way, you got a place to stay, no homo.

  • Keep the amazing attitude that u have. Wishing nothing but the best for u.

  • You are my hero.

  • Will you eventually lose control over certain parts of your body? if so will you still feel them?

  • Does make u think.

She loved to be active and sportsy, and I am just a lazy twat who just sits around doing nothing with a perfectly capable body.

    PS: I'm not trolling.

  • it is unfortunate you could not continue gymnastics. you have a good attitude on everything though so keep it up and you will be fine

  • gawd i just saw one of ur streamz ! so energetic loved it :D, great sense of humor and trollage :' )

is it possible to announce when u stream id love to support by watching the commercials etc : )

  • You know what you are rite I was imbarased about my genetic deasease. Im 27 and just a few years ago I decided to talk about it and stop beeing ashamed. All I can say is keep ya head up and hey there is always somethin to live for. A big hug from Croatia

  • you dont need make up.

  • Stay strong for all of us. You're not the problem. Media and how they impact our society is. Thanks for giving me this behind the scenes look into the problems of invisible sicknesses.

Ever seen Tedtalks? I would love to see this or something like it there. It is also a super great way of reaching people with this. Try and contact them with this clip or something else like it as a introduction. Again, stay strong!

  • I liked because I support you!

  • what kind of animal would dislike this?

  • @supperfley A human, the worst of the lot.

  • @supperfley idk maybe a Person like Mr. Burns from Simpsons -.-*

  • @supperfley Troll

  • @supperfley yes they are animals but thr just people that are Scare at Life so they do what they only do best to be a ZERO

  • @supperfley well surely the ones who are jealous that they cant get any money like she gets.

Cmon people there is reason why she even got that money.

  • @supperfley A bieber..

  • Great video and I completely agree with everything you've said, especially concerning "invisible diseases".

  • I feel sorry for you, but this just reminds me of the people who bullshit eds in the uk and take my fucking taxes as benefits so they dont have to work

  • WOOT yay! new wheel chair! U are going to have a happy long life =]

  • @urshelr Uhm... I wouldn't like to be stuck in a wheel chair for a lot of the time.... But I'm sure it will help ^^

  • Wow. Very powerful video! Great job and good luck to you! I will definitely be watching your videos more often. Can't wait to see the chair!

  • Comment removed

  • Before I watched this video I would've assumed you were fine, just too lazy to walk but after watching it I understand so much more. Wow I've never even realised, add me to the list of people you educated!

  • Congrats to the new wheel chair! You deserve it alot!

  • Found this through your stream/Athene's stream. Congratulations on your wheel chair. Definitely going to tune into your stream more often, dorky in a best possible way. =p
