  • 5:30 oh my ass!!!

  • i must say, this is jackies absolutly best fight scene ever! he´s the king!

  • Jackie Chan has put his body through some of the worst type of beatings and damage imaginable.

  • Wow, these actors are the real deal.

  • the guy in the white tux at 3:20 is from Drunken Master ahaha

  • you NEVER put your hands on Jackie Chan's woman. The worst beating of your life is sure to follow

  • How can anyone watch this and (or any non-american Jackie Chan fight scene for that matter) and NOT realize that he is the greatest action star this world has ever seen? Seriously NOTHING CAN HOLD A CANDLE TO HIM

  • the best fighting ever

  • 6:52 you will never see any other movie star attempt that stunt, ever. This is why Jackie Chan is the best action star. Any ordinary person would have been killed if they tried to jump that. Jackie was electrocuted and all the skin on his hands were burnt off and he almost got paralyzed.

  • Movies like these are sooo cozy.

  • They Don't Make action heros like the used to.

  • Chan is great. One thing that always makes me laugh about the Chinese action stars is that when they begin to run forward from a dead stop, their torso takes a split second to catch up with their legs. The visual effect is that as the legs begin pumping, the head and upper body actually falls backward before catching up with the legs. LOL

  • Fake leg at 2:28 :-)

  • 30 years old.. sonic speed capability 100%!

  • Jackie doesn't have time for injuries

  • He has stated that that end shot was the hardest stunt he's ever done. ... yet.

  • they don't make movies like this anymore... you know... guys beating up a helpless girl. I miss that.

  • @uros160 LOL Fucked up but made me laugh xD

  • @uros160 Yeah, I loved the Chinese drama movies back then where most of the male villains were raping women and they were always fat lol

  • 1:42 the guy on the right is having a seizure

  • i have so much respect for Jackie and for thouse stuntmen

  • 6:50 awesome...

  • 4:03 - 4:21 The guy just can't stop him... A good old fashioned Chan Man Beatdown x.x

  • Just a normal Friday night out in Newcastle

  • 12 people are still in wheelchairs after getting beaten up by Jackie from that mall fight.

  • 5:30 best way to use a motercycle in a fight

    EVER!

  • this scene alone would pwn all action movies. :)

  • Aside from the amazing choreography and stunts, JC's razor-sharp editing of these scene is just incredible. He actually edits during the choreography of his fight scenes. Already determining which angles are best for a certain shot.

  • 3:52 and lei wulongs laydown low attack was born

  • ストリートカンフーの走りだと思う。ジャッキーは神。

  • they would never let him do a scene like that in america thats why all his asian films are legrendary and all his american film are shit

  • This fight scene is one of the proof ,why Jackie Chan is legend.

  • I grew up watching Jackie chan, jet li, and Stephen chow, aw the golden age of martial art films. Ima show these films to my kids when I get maried.

  • @7angelicdragons

He actually did get electrocuted. Super. Bad. Ass.

  • 00:34 is like that casey dude from australia he trows this guy on the ground

  • @ 3:12 Jackie Chan injured himself due to that smash into the glass. It really didn't break the way he wanted.

  • Comment removed

  • what does it take to kill someone in this movie????

  • Jackey Chan AWSOME! hes my biggiest coolest Fighter in the world!!

  • me and my big bro grew with Jackie films. back in those days, whenever we saw Hollywood action films, we always said "meh, we've seen something better". and our parent agreed with what we've said. we watched Jackie movies as family entertainment XD Jackie older HK movies are always the best. this scene truly shows Jackie at his prime

  • Anyone know where i can buy the dvd version where he is called kevin? the new dub isnt so great

  • People always talk about all the crazy stunts Jackie does and how much he gets beaten up for real (which is true of course) but just have a look at all those other stuntmen in this scene ... they get thrown around like dolls and most of the time they land on rather not convinient thingies ... Jackie's stunt team should earn more credit for what they are doing: Risking their health to make Jackie Chan look good.

  • @Puschit1

    true what u say

but the reason why people talk about jackie more is because he gets the worst out of'em all

plus, he does more dangerous stunts

but yes, i do agree that the other stuntmen should get credit just as well

  • I'm glad Jackie made some money in Hollywood, but they ruined him. He was not nearly as fun and entertaining as Hong Kong Jackie.

  • lol SO MUCH GLASS!!

  • I love this movie. I've had it in my collection for almost 20 yrs now. I've seen this fight scene like a billion times and it just hit me right now while watching this..where the hell did that dude get a motorcycle in the middle of the shoe department in a mall!?! LOL Awesome!

  • honestly how can 12 people dislike this? how many other films can u say have this type of action apart from another jackie chan film, just unreal and borderline impossible

  • police story- awsome

    police story 2- good

police story 3 (super cop)- frikin awsome

police story 4 (first strike) -the best

police story 5 (new police story) -fucking shity dick sauce

  • loool the fight choreographer must hate glass and mirrors. The amount of time some1s head smashed through something is unreal.

  • @l00l20r2 The fight choreographer is Jackie Chan.

  • 1:39 O_o ...OW!!!

    3:11 >_<!!!

    3:39 Sweet high-low spin kicks!

5:04 Headbutt and Big Flying Headbutt!! :P

6:52 That was crazy! Jackie could been electrocuted.

  • @7AngelicDragons

at the bit he slides down through the lights and shit, he did get terribly burned. I think about 50% of his body got 3rd degree burns, and they had to rush him to a hospital afterwards, barely awake. He lived, but like most said alot of this stuff isn't in American made films due to insurance policies. The Hong-Kong/Chinese made films are alot better, because he made them with his rules not some American studio's rules.

  • @7AngelicDragons

he DID get electrocuted in that scene!

  • @7AngelicDragons Oh, he was. He was electrocuted almost to the point of paralyzing, burnt all the skin off his hands, and dislocated his pelvis.

  • @7AngelicDragons He was electrocuted. Burnt the skin off his hands, too.

  • @7AngelicDragons He WAS electrocuted, it almost killed him

  • @7AngelicDragons That was a great end scene.

  • @7AngelicDragons 6.52

he did get electrocuted, burnt the skin off his hands, had serious injuries to his back, dislocated his pelvis and he was nearly paralyzed

  • @7AngelicDragons he actually was electrocuted. he also burned off all the skin on his hands.

  • @7AngelicDragons he was

  • @7AngelicDragons he was electrocuted.

  • @7AngelicDragons

    6:52

He also damaged his back and dislocated his pelvis.

  • @7AngelicDragons he did get electrocuted. saw somethin about it in another youtube video. he went to the hospital i think

  • jackie chan is the best, from the best. my absolutely favourite.

  • all those guys went chris brown on that girl

  • i swear, they sould have theatrical releases of these old jackie chan films in the us. im betting that the us audience would be hella surprised by how gritty and intense these movies are compared to tamed and lame american jackie films like shanghai noon and tuxedo. And shit, they would love it.

  • LADIES AND GENTLEMAN, I GIVE YOU THE REAL JACKIE CHAN!!!!!!!

Police Story was the Chinaman's Die Hard!!!!!!!!

  • @ironfistfreddie Amen 2 that!!!

  • @ironfistfreddie, Yeah i miss this jackie chan. I knows he still badass but its the stupid american directors he worked with was their fault. Not even letting him to make his stunts.

  • @guy2008rules Hollywood cannot do this type of shit because majority of the Hollywood actors cannot go through this type that wanted to do. Even Hong Kong was under British rule at that time, they actually allowed this kind of stuff to happen? That's so cool! Hollywood cannot resort through this type of shit as HK movies do in the 1980s.

Irony that America was called "land of the free" but cannot allow most actors to go through this kind of stuff as HK films do.

  • @ironfistfreddie Ka-kui makes John McClane look like a pansy, guns are for pussies

  • awesome movie... jackie chan's best movies were from the 80s...

  • Jackie is really an inspiration to all us Asians. His achievements cannot be topped by anyone at least not in this century.

  • Jackie dislocated his hip at 1:42 and he still got up and ran away. Bad. Fucking. Ass.

  • That lady got her ass whipped! That has to be one of the toughest women i've ever seen.

  • Thanks for the video. I loved it. Watched like 100 times probably in my life but never get tired of it.

  • Insanely epic. Holy shit.

Plus two wall-mounted certificates and a trashcan to the face. And one pole of christmas lights for good measure.

  • 3:28 - 4:01, THE BEST COREOGRAPHY ON FIGHT EVER!!!

  • I remember when Police Story came on TV late at night back in the early 90's and I recorded it from the TV onto an old school video cassette, and I'd watch Police Story all the time on the old VCR

Those were the days before DVD's and the Internet killed all the fun and excitement in Hollywood. Now you can watch any scene you want on YouTube and actually skip scenes with the click of a mouse. Back in the day, I had to hold the forward button on the remore for about 5 minutes to forward the VCR

  • yea i remember those days. You can still do it. I still watch some old movies on the old tv with the vcr. Some of those movies aren't on tv anymore nor can i find them on youtube. I can only find like 3 minute clips but not the entire movie.

  • This was incredible Jackie and the rest of those fools must have broken every glass display in that mall.

  • one of his best fight scenes ever

  • I would say all the members from legendary JC Stunt Team are legends, some known, some unknown, they are all inhuman.

  • Absolutely insane! Epic!

  • you are not a real man if you beat up women.

  • the most hurtful (also in real life) , the best and the most dangerous scene in history EVER

  • @martinasartina

    You´re right!!!

    this scene is legendary!

best fight choreography, most dangerous stunts, most hurtful stunts!!! jackie chan 4EVER

  • white hollywood can never do something like that

  • @KoolJayJ

Yep, jackie chan uses real glass in this scene!!!

  • @magicviolin1991 no, he didn't use real glass, but he made the sugar glass twice as thick which would still hurt like crap

  • Whoever did the choreagrapery and stunt cordination, they or their students should be brought in for the Mortal Kombat movie

  • Jesus, I almost stopped breathing during the fight scene! I love old school azn movies.

  • they really don't make them like they used to

  • nothing compares to hong kong action movies!

  • oh. oh. oh my god...so awesome...

  • Are those Japanese subtitles in a Cantonese dub?

  • @allright715 This might be "a bit" late, but the answer is yes.^^

  • JACKIE CHAN IS A GOD!!!

  • act gary, act!

  • If only Rush Hours would have this type of action choreography, it would have been perfect!

  • @Garasky If you think that Chris Tucker would have been involved in anything like this, your crazy. LOL

  • @00ghostcobra

LOL, He'd probably take a glimpse of this fight scene and say "Ah hell no"

Just like in the beginning of Rush Hour 2 when he was about to climb the bamboo sticks to follow Lee, until he saw that guy fall down from the top

  • finally, some Jackie kicking ass, not jsut dodging and doing stunts!

  • That fall at the end... Jackie dislocated his pelvis during that. I doubt anyone before or since has dislocated their pelvis.

  • If there are 25 Jackie Chans in the world, there would be no criminals out there anymore...

  • Jackie know how to make a fucking legendary fight scene. No one can do this...

  • 1:20 Wheee!! I like this girl! She doesn't just sit around and do nothing like typical girls in the "damsel in distress" scenario. Ugh, that scene at the end. After I seen what happened to him afterwards, it makes me cringe.

  • Man that woman gets beat up. But that's what she gets for wearing overalls.

  • Spin-grab @2:54 is epic

  • jackie chan is the king of all action heroes

  • The true and only action hero...

  • i havent seen this one..is the movie as a whole any good?

  • @9B1T I loved it, it's VERY entertaining and has a more serious approach

  • Looking at the damage done at the mall, i'm pretty sure that the next day after the fight scene, a huge banner displayed at the entrance of the mall saying "No Jackie Chan allowed!"

  • Somehow I kinda cheered for Jackie whenever a bad guy was brutally knocked down, after all they appeared to be cowardly low life that you kinda disliked.

  • this chinese guys are incredible, the move so fast !

  • It's a little difficult to watch that final jump knowing how severely he injured himself doing it, but the same could be said of about 80% of Jackie's big stunts

  • That fucking jump at the end is legendary.

I mean they showed it 3 times, they knew how fucking legendary it was before it was even released

  • Yeah, it's old but the stunts are jaw-dropping just the same. That final, death-defying drop was insane.

  • just remind everyone, the glass used in this fight are real glasses , Jackie chan said in the interview that he did that on purpose. He what the real effect. If you see clear enough, when JC was punched in the head and his head hit the glass.the way the glass brokes, its real!

  • You were waiting for it, no need to worry 6:51

    -Stoicone!

  • Such a classic film. Easily one of Jackie Chan's best .

If ya'll are into martial arts, stop by our page and comment on our videos please.

    Thanks!

    CatChing Do Defensive Arts Staff

  • All speeded up... funny stuff :)

  • its not speed up, it the real spead when they fight ,it what Jc demands.

  • Incredible to this day...one of the best ever!

  • ptreno6 you are right. THIS FIGHT CAN NEVER BE TOPPED!!!!!!!1

  • 2:57 guy gets a tour of barbie's house

  • I love how the girls in this are getting knocked through glass and stuff. So funny XD

  • fu*king awesome fight scene. one of my favourites.

  • Damn , I remember watching this as a kid like It wasn't when it was released I think I was 3 , like 1998 , No wonder I go to a mall for the atmosphere , this is a kick ass fight

  • that's a lot of glass for the mall custodians to clean up :-/ LOL @ the girl trying to get in on the action but gets her ass beat everytime.

  • the man is mad to jump from that height lol. damn give the man respect.

  • wow this is so awesome

apparently when he was sliding down the pole he was paralyzed, burned all the skin off his hands and dislocated his pelvis and some other stuff that seems painful.

    police story is best

  • police story was always my shit. Jackie went to phucking hard lmao

  • Nice Video, Unlike some of you I understand what they are saying. :)

  • @counkev well so do i! i have this movie in english dubbed, watched it a lot as a kid and i got the lines memorized :P

  • 1 on 4 and jacky stills puts up a great fight

  • Jackie Chan's stunt team is taken care of. They are/were the best out there, and he used to be a stuntman(well still is actually), so he knows what it's like. And for every dangerous stunt they do Jackie will do one HUGE one (such as going down that poll or falling off the clocktour in Project A).

  • Wow every time I watch this I see something new that I'd never given adequate attention before. Look how fast the trip kick is at 3:40!

The audience can almost believe this fight because of how fast it was, like a real fight. It's so easy to tell they are holding punches, moving slow and not fighting like real life in most action movies(in America at least).

  • Im sorry im gonna have to stop this video at 39 sec for the fact that just by watching this lil part i can already tell this movvie fucking PWNS and i would like to enjoy it without spoilers kinda buzzed and ganja'd out for full experience :D rumble in the bronx ftw

  • AT 6:48 the reason why jackie screamed is because the guy that was meant to but the been bag said a word to Que it.. and jackie was too late to get off so he had to jump off and do the super cool spine on the pole. but he fainted they got him back and with awesome edit it made it look like he didnt get hurt

  • ...and after this clip ends, never have i been more satisfied by seeing the goodguy beat the shit out of the badguy, than in this movie...boy does the bad guy get it bad after this scene, and his lawyer!

  • I've always laughed at the "special-move headbutts" at 5:04 to 5:07.

Listen to the sound of the impacts when he lands those headbutts - funny :D

Even 'till this day, THIS ENTIRE FIGHT SCENE CANNOT BE TOPPED!!!

  • The 80s sound effects used for fights were so awesome. Of course they won't work in today's movies, but i still love the way it sounded

  • i love 80s movies. it sound pure action unlike CGI today.

  • @almo8989 They were so special effecxts that he burned all the skin off his hands. He didn't use special effects, those were REAL:.

  • @ptreno6

It seems that guys head was empty hehe

  • Stuff of legend.

    No special effects, no CGI.

  • @Zach1886 Oh yeah, well I actually know someone who thinks all the stunts are fake and look fake.

  • @Zach1886 Jackie chan isnt cgi?????

    he cant be real!!!

    haha

  • This movie has the best stunts of jackie chan in my opinion.

  • the best

  • Bruce Lee my ass, as a stuntman and actor he was terrible.

Let's not mix things people, one thing is being a martial artist in which case Bruce was among the best without doubt.

Another thing is being a stuntman or even an actor.

Bruce couldn't act even if his life depended on it...

  • Bruce Lee wasn't the greatest actor, but he did know how to act. He started out as a child actor. He's a philosopher/martial artist first and actor 2nd. If it wasn't for Bruce Lee, there wouldn't be guys like Jackie Chan and Sammo Hung.

  • @almo8989 Nobody is taking the credit away from Bruce. It's true that he was one of the pioneers.

BUT even if he started as a kid, his movies were terribly acted, and not only because they're old and chinese (which may seem weird for us "western-used-dudes")...

I never considered him an actor, he is almost dragged to acting in order to make martial arts more popular. Which is commendable anyway.

I was just discussing Bruce's acting and "Stuntmanship" comparing it with Jackie's one...

  • @almo8989

jackie chan is much betetr than bruce lee easily

  • there is a difference between stunts and actual fighting...to compare Bruce Lee to Jackie Chan is not an accurate portrayal of ones fighting prowess. Bruce Lee is the consumate martial arts streetfighter and his training reflected that. His speed and power are unmatched. Jackie is choreographed acrbatics and looks good but in a real fight that would not happen.. Simplicity is the best way.

  • bruce lee is unmatched but jackie is no slouch just becouse he does coreograph fights in movies, his training give him both speed and agility.

  • @feanor22, Bruce Lee was far too serious. In one movie, Lee is flying through the air in slow motion. I was meant to take it seriously. It was so absurd I had to laugh. I never watched any martial arts movies until I saw Jackie Chan. Jackie didn't take himself seriously, and, as far as I know, he was the first - maybe the only! - person to make martial arts movies entertaining. You can enjoy the fights, knowing they r orchestrated to look entertaining, NOT to make Jackie look tough.

  • its cool how the difference in bruce lee and jackie chan is shown. jackie is the hero that takes hit and comes back harder while bruce lee is the invincible badass. underdog and the humble master.

  • Make Hong Kong style movies Jackie! I know you've still got it in you! I don't care how old you are, you're still the master! Screw all of this slowed down camera blurring camera switching American style choreography! I can't stand that shit!

  • this fight scene is beyond fantastic!!! Jackie Chan owns in close combat where every enemy is 3inches away throwing every punch at him. this "one man against all" is the best fight scene ever made. ALSO don't forget that one other movie where jackie fights thousands of thieves while he and this one master was stuck in the tea house!!!!!!! i forgot what that movie was?

  • drunken master 2

  • yes drunken master 2 heh thanks for correcting me

  • @VueThao19 It's Drunken Master 2!

  • is it drunken master 2 you are talking about?

  • @VueThao19 Drunken Master II, another classic fight scene

  • @VueThao19 i think it was the legend of the drunken master 2

  • I like all Jackie's movie. he does every fight scene like there's fifty fifty chance of winning between the bad guy and good guy. lol i love this guy

  • man this was jackie chan in his prime STAY alive forever jackie and make your movies forever till the end of time

  • 3.51 owned

  • Bellissima scena di combattimento =)

  • Jackie chan is such a charming guy!! I love him!!

  • Jackie Chan is awesome!!

He has even got a world record for doing most stunts of a living human! That means nobody has made so many stunts like him in the whole world!

  • Jackie Chan is one crazy bastard! That's all I gotta say! That's why I like him and his stuntwork.
