Capitalism as an economic system is not supposed to be involved with government in the first place. Canada had a much greater impact on medicine than the USA, while the USA is clearely the biggest developer of pharmaceuticals in the world. Il give you that much... but canadian doctors discovered insulin, penicilin, discovered the RNA of Viruses, manufactured the first artificial knee and pelvis...to name a few, the discoverises at UofT and McGill U rival that of any research body in the world...
