have to point out, the car driver would have been able to see that biker for long enough to brake and avoid the guy. the biker appeared 7 seconds in and then got hit at 13. would i have avoided him in six seconds? hell yea. there was no oncoming traffic cus it looks like a one-way to me

@Th3Gr33k Are you blind? Even in the UK (where I am from), it would of been the bikers fault!! Also you say in the UK that undertaking isn't legal?? Er.. WRONG!! Highway Code rule 268 advises against undertaking on a motorway however undertaking is allowed if the vehicles in the lane to the right (as we drive on the left) are queueing and slow moving or signal to turn right. FACT!!

Please explain to me why the bike was in the wrong. I know in the UK where im from - sorry dont let the name throw you - that in 95% of cases the blame lied with the person that hit the other, since the car was behind and hit the bike its the car drivers fault.

As a side note, Im a biker, you dont think I know the over/undertaking laws you make me lol. Filter ftw.

Bicyclist was completely and totally wrong - he wasn't looking where he was going, was changing lanes without signaling, and swerved right in front of the car. The bicyclist also should have been riding on the side of the road, not in the middle of the street.

I cant see why people are blaming that on the bike (which looks like a small motorbike...), the car went to undertake, which cant be right (it isnt in the UK). Because the bike was in front he had right of way. Also if you hit someone from behind its your fault...

I had that happen to me once. A guy pulled out in front of me on my push bike. I was goin pretty fast- 25mph plus. He pulled out I went over the bonnet, and when he got out and saw the damage to his car, he came over and smacked me HARD in the face. I took his plate, and got the cops involved. He had to pay me £300 in damages and got 100 hours community service. And so he should the cunt. I broke my wrist and got ripped up pretty bad. Let alone the busted tooth and gut gums and bloody nose.
