  • @dynexys True.

  • man!he was really good!

come 2 think of it mr.bean is like the modren charlie chpline!=D

  • @LittelMsShantv Mr. Bean holds no candle to Chaplin's work. In fact comparing the two is rather insulting.

  • He is a genieous!

  • ugh it's hard to watch him shaving that fast with that blade D:

  • I want a barber that quick

  • nakz

  • SIEG HEIL !!!

  • @limauze ......

  • Charlie Chaplin and Brahms. What more do you need?

  • He was genius a real master piece. the original actor.

  • He did this in one take.

  • no, probably at his genius synchronization of the music and act. Any extreme situation is funny, even extreme perfection !

  • I have just wateched Iron Man and I remembered that Robert Downey Jr played Chaplin in the 1992 film of the same name. I typed in that and this was the first video that came up. Please help here though: what am I laughing at? Is it just the comical way he shaves the guy?

  • very nice........video..........

  • esse cara foi d+ brasilllllllllll

  • I mean to the effect of modern society as well because we still suffer the same injustices and indignities ad back then.

  • Umm charlie's comedy WAS social commentary with slapstick humour. Obviously some people need to rewatch his movies. Aka. Can't get more obvious than Modern Times and The Great Dictator.

  • 1:39 JAJAJAJAJAJAJAJAJA XD

  • i cry when i was read hestory abour hes life

  • BEAUTIFUL!!!

  • i do things like this too , i do it with the music

  • Can anyone tell me why they wear so much eyeliner in these films? Is it to emphasize the eyes in the black and white-ness?

  • the song played in the back round is Hungarian Dance! I love that song.

  • what movie is this one

  • genious

  • This was not funny one bit. Charlie chaplin is cool and all, but this humor is 100 years old. Only geezers still find this funny.

  • @RoundHouseRecords not really. its just not your kind of humor. I find chaplin pretty fun due to his quirky, awkward manorisms and his stupid actions. That's my kind of humor. But Borat sums up my sense of humor the best. I geeked out the whole time I watched that movie.

  • le hubieras puesto un nombre mas en español porque esta comentado solo por gente que habla ingles y solo hay pocos comentarios que se entiendan

  • Don;t get how that was funny in any way, shape or form?

  • first he puts mroe shaving cream up and then wiped it off.. lol

  • @Italian77721 but Cantinflas did it with Czardas

  • FELIZ 122 AÑOS CHAPLIN!

  • Chaplin you are still the best actor, the best comedian, and your movies are the best. Happy birthday 122.

  • the song , pls somebody tale me the name :D:D

  • @TheMegaRanku Hungarian dance number 5

  • Every time I see a Charlie Chaplin movie I now I am watching something that was never done before, he invented what I am seeing; this scene has been done by many other great comedians, but not before him, Bugs Bunny did it, Mr Bean and Cantinflas, he's just amazing, I'll go now and watch The Great Dictator again

  • i got my first straight razor shave the other day samn i was scared as shite, but it was smooth shave

  • no fucking way, prof. green ripped trhis song fr his upper clapton

  • best silent comedian EVER

  • didnt they do this in a bugs bunny cartoon?

  • genio

  • Genioooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo!!!!

    Desde Colombia.

  • i did not like the music that much but i did like the actions.

  • what song is playing backround ?

  • Hungarian Dance No 5

  • This scene is from "the grate dictator"

  • he was ahead of his time and it would be pretty safe to say he was ahead of our time as well after looking at all the atrocious immature drivel that gets passed of as comedy these days...

  • you are absolutely right. He was the most intelligent comedian in my mind.

  • @rsafa AND DOWNEY TOO

  • should listen to hes speech if u haven't already ...

  • @jammyjo610 I wouldn't go that far, yeah he was quite a clever comedian. But he comedy was MAINLY slapstick, not real thought/intelligence put behind iy. Look at modern day comedians like Ricky Gervais, The Office is just far superior with the subtle comedy and the way they play on social awkwardness, or Peep Show. Charlie was good, but not ahead of OUR time.

  • @lyricaltesting Not real thought/intelligence put behind it? OMG i don't even know where to start. Have you actually seen the great dictator? The way he plays Hitler ánd a Jewish (!) barber is pure genius.

  • @beamerZ No I haven't seen it. But this sketch isn't funny at all in my opinion and this sketch has no real intelligent comedy behind it. Like I said before, it is basically slap stick comedy.

I would like to be proved wrong, can you link me to a funny Charlie Chaplin sketch?

  • @jammyjo610 i agree

  • he ownes big. he was soo ahead of hes time. great vid :) hilarious also :D

  • genial genial genial, muevase al compas de la musica (que literal jiji)

Escuche para empezar la danza hungara numero 5 de Brahms. jajajaja

Sr. Chaplin me he enamorado de usted!!!!

  • SO FUNNY!!!!!!!!!

  • i Remember the first time that i've see this scene, this is just amazing...

  • ZANG! Chaplin was wicked good

  • no me gusta esta muy mensillo

  • I havent seen this in a while. And i have totally forgotten how funny he is.

    =D

  • hhhhhhhhhhh moms5

  • Haha the music makes it even funnier!

  • Love this scene. Thanks for posting it.

  • Ese es mi comediante favorito, amo sus comedias ja ja ja

  • Charles chaplin your the best!!!

  • if really was that simple to shave like that and not get a cut, WOW. but that was chaplin for ya the one of the best silent comedians.

  • ¡¡Un genio!!.
