yes- he states that the lentiform nucleus consists of the geniculate nucleus and the globus pallidus. That is incorrect - the lentiform nucleus consists of the putamen and the globus pallidus...

Hi. To understand the central nervous system, you have to know what makes up the central nervous system before studying its anatomy. Try my Neuroanatomy video #8 ... in the SECOND HALF of that video, i try to help you understand what is unique to the CNS as opposed to the PNS. Bye.

Why does an X flash towards the end?

Because i incorrectly said that the "Lentiform nucleus" consists of the Geniculate body and putamen... that is wrong.. it consists of Globus palidus and putamen.
