I forgot that yesterday was the 29th anniversary of this game, and that it's both Donkey Kong's and Mario's 29th birthday, unless people still refer Mario on Super Mario Bros. I like to keep it original here, and say that it's his 29th birthday, and that next year, this game will be 30 years old.
I used to play DK pretty good and there is one secret in the first level of the game.
When you climb up the first ladder ,you need one short strike on the joystick to move the Mario,a little bit, to the right (he must look to the left) and than branch backward to the right !
it would be cool to watch a robot beat there 2 score combined! but it's allways hard to find chairs in arcades...cant handle standing for hours...might also be annoying sipping on a soda, chewin gum as the robot plays donky kong at Funspot arcade....mannn maby if I set up a tripod thing i could record the robots record breaking score...one full take with no edits...something for the judges to have a brew haw haw over...but they will find no edits..one clean take. robot breaks new record!
dude, i can beat this game so easily without losing any lives, AND getting all the purses and umbrellas. in fact.....i will... give me a few days and ill cream donkey kong and get laid by pauline!
Boy, does THIS bring me back.

I never got it that a wooden barrel sparked a fire, because it ran into the oil drum, but I do like how they use oil drums in DKC
