Harp seals have a low reproduction rate and do not feed exclusively on "our" fish. Ecosystems self regulate unless something unnatural messes up the works. Overfishing and mismanagement have done more damage than the seals ever could.
a study done by enviroments canada in 2005 proved in the 20+ years that the seal hunt had been banned, the numbers of harp seals in the canadian artic grew from under 2 million to over 6 million in 20 years... so if we let them be, in 40 years there would be 50 million of them.. again, canada isnt some 3rd world country, we have some of the best scientists in the world, and they say to kill some seals each year, so we do.. also, the natives up north need those resources from the seals to survive

BUT it also showed that the government not only allows this but it ENDORSES it and HELPS the sealers get to where the seals are. Despite government claim, regarding the coast guards help of plowing paths to thier breeding grounds. The government denies such. PLEASE see that this isnt a fight against you, we just want seals to live. we want to make sure that such atrocities will stop.

The whale species most often hunted by the Japanese fleet are Minke whales and if you simpletons would check wikipedia you would see it is not a species threatened with extinction. They have a cull in the UK too. Kept pretty quite though. Seals over there eat salmon from the few salmon rivers they have. The rich folk(like Mccartnys buddies)are the only ones who can afford to fish for salmon over in the UK (go on line and check=out how much it costs to fish, go-on I dare you(not you basslicker))I don't seem to see any video by Reb & Co. attacking that.
