Barney is always sniffling. And yes, Mary Grace has a load of tits. She may be ugly, but she's top heavy for sure. Amazing back then, before a lot of T.V. channels and computers and video games how people did sit and talk. I rmember my Dad and Mom and my Grandma would sit out on the porch and shell peas and talk into the night. Then we'd crank up the ice cream machine or cut a cold watermelon while my brother and I and my cousins would chase fireflied out on the freshly cut lawn. What days.

Hey, I was watching the one where Gomer brings Thelma Lou to the dentist in Mt. Pilot because Barney was busy and the squad car was in the shop. Gomer tells Thelma that Barney was bragging about having her in his hip pocket so Thelma uses Gomer to make Barney realize he shouldn't brag like that. Anyway, Gomer ends up at Thelma Lou's that night and his hair was plastered with some kind of grease. It was so slick it shined.....LOL.

LOL!!! Man that gomer was no Beau Brummel but he did get around and how about his cousin goober?I think him and gomer used the same goop in their hair.remember goobers date with Lydia Crossway it lasted like 10 minutes..LOL LOL!!

ROFL!!! I remember Goober went back to the courthouse and Barney told him he needed to get going on his 'date' with Lydia. Goober said he had already gone and that he had "followed the directions" Andy had given him. Barney said something like "Goober you were on a date, not taking medicine!!"

Both Goob and Gome were sure a couple of playboys.......ha ha ha.

That they were! I remember when they took Helen And Thelma Lou to this dance and Goober did his inpersonation of Carey Grant and Edward G Robinson then he walked like Chester(from Gunsmoke) then he sewed up his fingers!LOL What girl would'nt be impressed by that...Lol.

I think that episode was on TVLand earlier this week. Goob and Gome ended up with the Fun Girls from Mt. Pilot. Helen and Thelma Lou didn't seem too impressed by Goober's imitations or the way he could sew up his fingers (LOL), but the Fun Girls were laughing like crazy when the camera pans over and Goober is limping like Chester!!! LOL

@RealBigR , He might have!!! At the end of the episode Andy, Helen, Barney and Thelma Lou come home to find Gomer and Mary Grace dancing in the living room. No telling what happened after that though. Gomer probably swept her off her feet, being so suave and sophisticated and all.....LOL
