@dwoklax in box you're allowed to cross check and slash at the arms to try to get to the other players stick to knock the ball loose thats why, in field its all open hitting and cross checking is illegal so you don't need as much padding, I'm guessing thats the comparison you were making judging by the way you asked your question?

the shooters are so accurate...so eventhough the goalies have a ton of padding on, NLL teams often score 10+ goals, which is pretty balanced. If the goalies had less on, i think scores would be really inflated. As it is, you don't ever see shutouts.

Yes, it does. Especially when the forwards can fake so well. Learn a couple of things about the sport before you attempt to insult it. These guys can pick corners from 30 ft. out on a 4 by 4 hockey net, you dumbass.

I could counter by saying that it takes no talent to score on a 6 by 6 net in field lacrosse. Easier said than done. That's why Canadians and Iroquois have such high shooting percentages, thanks to years spent playing box.
