ok, I am confused.. I know it is kinda hard to understand t he audio sometimes but it seems to me like he was telling his own story not somebody else's story....a gay guy can be married to a woman and still be gay..doesn't mean they are having sex...anywho .. people are saying no he isn't gay..kinda goes against everything in this interview.. the guys at this interview seem to be gay as well

@xadam2dudex He's talking about an old friend and drinking partner, Francis Bacon, the famous artist. I don't know what Tom's preferences are to be honest, though he has been married a few times.

He isn't. He's been married three times. Once to 'Romana' his Doctor Who travelling companion and currently to a script editor who worked with him on Doctor Who. They married in '86.

Liked his comment about having to make up stories for confession... had to do the same growing up. he's right, the sicko priests wanted to hear about wacking, lusting, stealing... you couldn't go in there and say "oh, not much happened, well, I wanted my mom to stop yammering at me to mow the lawn, but that's about it." Takes me back.

Brilliant...This is the best Thing I've seen or heard of Tom being free to say what he wants and it's really really interesting...Tip for the Dr who dvd people, give Tom plenty of drinks whilst he's doing a commentary,  he seems to remember more and would steal the show.
