I own and have owned a couple of Toyotas. The rust is a problem, yeah, but I ripped the box off mine and replaced it with a flatbed and drilled several drain holes. My frame is in perfect condition and the only spots of rust on it I've removed and coated with rust paint. I'm driving a '92 and it's still going strong, and I can get places my buddy's Dodge couldn't even DREAM of going. I've outwheeled Ford, Dodge, Chev and Nissan trucks with a bone-stock 'Yota. Minitrucks ftw

Yup. Buddy of mine has one. I've gone four wheeling in a Cherokee and a Wrangler lifted 6'' with 42" Iroks. I definitely prefer Toyota for offroad handling, traction and general reliability; the worst offroad breakdown I've seen in a 'yota is a broken birf. I've seen Jeeps break coil springs before, and I once saw somebody snap their driveshaft. I've heard of plenty more Jeep horror stories, too. The funny thing is Jeep is probably the best domestic 4x4 available.

If your Dodge died at 60k, you fucked up. This MoPar family has never had an issue with any Chrysler Product before 200k, from 66 Coronets to 08 Jeep Wranglers.

Our Dakota and Ramcharger are going beautifully thank you, considering the Ramcharger is an 83 with over 200k on it, it does smoke a little, but it drives nice. And the Dakota has some rust of course, I admit Dodge had issues with their bodies in the mid 90s, but it gets up and goes and handles great.

The 426 is legendary, the 340 and 440s are loved drag engines. The 383 is a murderous small block. And I really don't care anymore. I have much more important shit to deal with.
