Dai-guard..well, I have yet to watch it since you know, I heard of it when I was a kid and never got back to it...is a whole nother anime. Its actually gonna be quite popular again, as its one of the series showing up in the new SRW game, SRW Z2. But you probably already knew that. Its the reason why I looked for the theme to this robot anime in the first place. I'm glad I did.
The one thing I point out to people is that Daiguard borrow heavily from Evangelion. It's director did episode 9 of Eva after all. Think Akagi, Ibuki, the final hetrodyne's color scheme and getting a piledriver throught the head. Akagi is the anti-Ritsuko, Ibuki is anti-Misato and Aoyama is a Shinji/Kaji hybrid. That said, Daiguard is my favorite anime of all time. It is all about humanity adapting and working together to overcome any obstacle. A great anime that deserves more recognition.

i'm glad i got the whole show on dvd. it's an innocent little anime show but still enjoyable. the cool thing is that this isn't one of those flashy/highspeed/high power mecha animes where giant robots dance about at the touch of a button. here it's more realistic with hard teamwork to keep it moving and all the perks of being an advertising gimmick to damage claims.

My brother and I own this DVD series, we enjoyed it a lot! THat one episode where they thought that they were going to lose was so incredibly intense, between the music, the atmosphere, the whole look and feel of everything...I've never had that kind of reaction to any anime before. Thumbs up!

I have MP3s of the opening and end themes. The opener is by Cobratwisters (or Cobra tsui stars) and you already know the name of it. The MP3 I have is of the uncut song, not the shortened one for the show. Same deal with "Hashire Hashire," which is 4:29 in length.

I've Loved this series since it first came out.
You can get the theme from Gendou if anyone else needs the theme. Rojiurano Uchuushounen is its japanese name.
