Having been a defense contractor (engineer) I have the utmost respect for my military brethren, both active duty and retired. Are there some bad apples? Sure. Will they be weeded out should things get ugly? You betcha. All those of you who want to bad mouth our military members need to remember who will be standing with you against this tyranny when hell breaks loose. I have served in Law Enforcement...I have seen the attitudes first hand...these people will do as they are told, because "they want to keep their jobs"! I have heard this first hand. some of the Nazi's at the Nuremburg Trials stated that they were "just following orders!" I agree with what you say...but the vast majority of our troops will do what they are told and will go against the American populace. The wars we have fought in the last 50 years are proof of this...they fought illegal wars and violated their oath. The Constitution does not give the executive the right to wage indiscriminate wars and commit troops whenever he feels like it. The Constitution is very precise in what steps must be taken in order to wage war...we have not followed it!
