  • Great info thanks, I have one question, I'm trying to organize my master schedule through priorities and resourse usage. I have trouble due to improvised tasks and this task priorities that I have to add, what can I do?

    Thank you and regards

    Julian

  • Hi Julian

What do you mean by "organize my master schedule ***through*** priorities and resourse usage."? Did you mean"by" instead of "through"? The sentence is confusing. Please explain what you mean.

    Thanks

    Dora

  • @dtarver Hi Dora

Sorry you are right i meant "by"....

    Thanks

  • Q: if resources collide would it be highlighted somehow?

For example a person is scheduled to perform two tasks at the same time at different locations? or if the number of simultaneous tasks exceeds the number of available resources? or if the overall budget is sufficient for all projects but at some point in time there is a cash-flow issue - like more money has to be spent now then are actually available?

What to do in each of those cases?

  • Hello gespilk

    Excellent questions!

I will create a video that shows people how to use the resource pool.

I'll add it to my onlie video coaching that may be found at CreateAndManageSchedules(dot)com

    Regards,

    Dora

  • just go this from a torrent but had no idea how to use it thanks alot!

  • Hello

please tell me what you mean by 'had no idea how to use it'? Are you referring to how to use a master schedule?

  • thanxs

    really appreciate it

  • Thanks for taking the time to do this. I know MS Project but can always pick up a tip or two from someone else.

  • Thank you!

  • hey dtarver, a very helpful video. I was wondering if you have a more explicit video, because i´m doing a MS in a medicine project. I would love to learn more complex functions or features of Microsoft Project for the MS, like for example: tracking a MS, costs of a MS, assingments of a MS... I will appreciate if you can help me with these situation. I´m a little bit confused with this subject. Anyway, thank you very much for this video, i´m waiting for your answer...

  • The video is really "Link" within Schedule and Master Schedule informative. Most videos are just not reflective of "how to" which does include making and correcting mistakes. Voice is good too -

  • this is neat!!!

  • good video! very helpful. thanks!!!

  • Nice viseo

  • thank you
