Most of these tanks are by Takashi Amano. He's widely regarded at the best designer of planted aquariums ever. Some of his methods include massive overdosing of Co2 and counter balancing that with Oxygen injection, rare rocks that can only be found in Japan, and rimless tanks with clear glass lilypipes. He teaches a class at a university in Japan that eye-pleasing designs and high-end water chemistry. An odd mix of study criteria, but it works great.
u must have a perfect light , high CO2 invertion, good heater, u have to cut the plants and the moss every day .... and at best this Aquascaping look in huge tanks .... so have money and a lot of time .... i mean, get Harz4 ^^
The whole point of aquascaping is the overall look, NOT how many farm bred pet shop fish you can cram in the tank! Beautiful, imaginative and truly jaw dropping when people reach these levels. Gods job to whoever created these masterpieces.
All of Takashi Amano's designs are based on natural terrestrial landscapes hes actually scene. He tries to recreate those landscapes underwater. Truly marvelous works of art.
@fireworksman1919 I'm not really sure why neons are the most commonly used fish, however I could guess that they're used because they might be the least expensive per batch of fish or they dazzle brighter under the clear white light. They might also be the most common because most people know of neons, even non fish enthusiasts therefore making the tanks more familiar to them :) I have phantoms, blood fin and silver tipped tetras in my tank but neons to look nice too ;)
@fireworksman1919 its because tetras are the best schooling fish. but if u do as u said, mix 5 verieties they will not school as good as one veriety. plus aquascapers are mostly focused on the plants and scape. the fish are 2ndary
also i want to change my tank to a sump system, i have everything but the sump tank and pvc cause with my size tank i have no idea what size sump to use
@violentjett uhm....no, they're created by artists who are brilliantly skilled in aqua-scaping (yeah, thats what its called) and who know what they are doing. Unlike you.
@howza20 If I had to make an educated guess I would say the medium size tanks are between 30 gallons and 60 gallons but I would say that some of the deeper or panoramic ones could push up to 90 gallons. Superb setups none the less :)
Ive noticed in this video that some of these artists scaped their aquariums to mimic a photograph of a mountain range or a river flowing though two meadowy hills or the jungle
@Nanovirus5995 they are amazing. i can't wait to get a fish tank... and i would love mine to look half as good as one of these.. but it must take loads of work. brilliant. Its a really relaxing video as well.
Wow! Stunning examples...music works well too, well done :)
