I dont like the swans because of some mates I knew that liked them but all that aside, that was such great quarter of football. I was sad when Davis left the pies but you know It doesn't matter where what team a player plays for, if that player can display inspirational & memorable play like that then why should it matter.

I was fortunate enough to be at this game with my dad and mates, my mates left early in the 4th quarter becoz they thought the game was over leaving me and my old man to witness possibly the best individual effort by 1 footballer in a single quarter of finals football i have ever seen. An absolutely thrilling performance, I was up late watching all the games from Colorado. Nick Davis was absolutely on fire, could not be stopped in any phase of the game. Note the great tip from Jason Ball on the toss, it was a scripted play and Davis took the tip on on the run to get the major. Stunning two matches for the Swannies counting the GF.

I remember at 3/4 time the commentators saying that Nick Davis had been the worst, most ineffectual player on the ground. This game shattered Geelongs 2006 season and they should have won the Grand Final. They would have beaten St Kilda and the West Coast.
