It clearly states which efforts are to be rewarded, and this was a far miss.

Wars have been going on long before we noticed global warming.

Don't blame the choice of those who have grabbed power and started wars on the WEATHER!!! That is the lamest excuse I have heard for war to date.

Close connections between climate and war and peace? What?! What does Dufar have to do with this supposed "climate connected to war"? This guy explains nothing. Either the clip didn't explain it because it's not long enough, or this is the guy's full explanation. If it's the latter, then I call that no explanation at all.

Or maybe you just didn't do any background research and just thought that the video would enlighten you. In Darfur the whole genocide problem is occuring because there is not enough food due to droughts and other natural phenomenon which are caused by GLOBAL WARMING! We have seen this time and time again most notably in Rwanda when the population outgrew their shrinking food supply.
