  • is that stupid y strap removable??

  • @northernmifan No but you could cut it off

  • How has this pack held up ? I got one and it hasnt lasted that long prob about 6 mths.

  • @plumbingoni Its still going strong

  • @plumbingoni If you don't mind me asking, what were you using it for that it wore out in 6 months?

  • @jsphpalumbo yea it was a combination of walking and camping, one of the main carrying straps has become unstitched not very impressed with what i paid for it. Got me a camelbak bfm now instead.

  • is this really a 2800 cui pack? i ust dont see how...number dont add up 20x16x7.5 ?

  • @TRUTHandANSWERS this is from the website

    Main Compartment: 20.5"(H) x 16"(W) x 7.5"(D)

    Front Pouch: 15.5"(H) x 12"(W) x 2.75"(D)

    Slip Pocket: 15.5"(H) x 12"(W)

  • Thank you for sharing this video and your review.

  • @sanzoparty1066 Thanks for watching!

  • Awesome pack I have it in the khaki color with lots of maxpedition pouches added to it. Next up is a maxpedition sabercat to add to my pack for even longer trips!!

  • @sniperu1 Yea its one tough bag, is the sabercat larger? I'm possibly looking for a new pack

  • @megasimon999 The sabercat is smaller than the vulture. the sabercat is kinda like a buttpack n i seen were this guy adds military suspenders n becomes a small backpack.

  • Great video thanks for sharing

  • @armory247 Thanks for watching it.

  • Absolutely a beautiful bag and you have great gear to fill it with. This is my concern...an OD green bag communicates to me survivalist. When I say you have great gear to fill it with, I've only watched 10 seconds of your video and I can honestly say in a SHTF scenario you will be picked off at 100 yards and new owner of your bag will probably have ??? and now I'm guessing because I havent seen your whole video...(Glock 23, 4 clips, extra ammo, MRE's, survival knife, fire starter, water filter)

  • @Qtrade01 Actually since making the video I added a civilian rainproof cover which gives me a colour to blend in. I also have a USMC ILBE also with civilian cover which has all the above knife, katadyn pocket etc etc just no gun....that I will have to get hold off after SHTF

I actually think there would be so many people to pick off in a SHTF it wouldnt matter what type of pack you carry.

  • do you know how is this bag compare to 5.11 tactical 24 / 72 bag ?

  • @urkingod The vulture is 2810 CU. I dont know what size the backpack you mention is.

  • I just got this same color bag about a week ago, man it's pretty awesome. I bought a cheap coleman sleeping bag and it fits pretty well on the bottom. One thing about this bag is that the material is so well made that frankly you're not used to it when you first get it. The fabric around the zippers is kind of tough at first to move out of the way. Amazing pack though very glad I got it.

  • I love my Maxpedition V-2

The hydration compartment can also be used to place a frame, though I find the pack to be comfortable without it...even when loaded heavily.

  • Yea Its still good to wear fully loaded especially by using the hip belt.

    Thanks for the comment

  • @PatriotAr15 hello. is v2 the largest and most usable for 3 day camps? 8maxpedition packs)thx

  • @tibetoo7 I think this would work great for a 3 day camp with some extra pouches added, I believe its the largest maxpedition makes

  • Great review Simon! A superb view of the V-II. I'm zipping over to watch Part 2... - Roz
