  • @ForrestUzumaki

Why don't you spew nonsense about music being ruined somewhere else? I mean, it's kind of pointless to complain about modern music on a relatively new music video; I'm sure you'd find the agreement you're looking for on some older songs on Youtube.

  • anybody else think the lead singer looks like Jeff Bridges?

  • lol - so right on that ...

  • I didn't know Zach Galifianakis could sing!

  • good idea thomas

  • HELP ME!

  • First time I ever heard about these guys was in a local hot dog joint where they played a show for myself and about fifteen other guys at around one or two in the morning. It was one of the best shows I've ever seen.

  • They sound like 50 different bands all at the same time. I like it! Go Canada!

  • Did they buy 5 copies for their mothers ???

  • What type of guitars do they use?

  • @Haldei bassist uses a rickenbacker bass, both guitarists use a Gibson firebirds in this video

  • @Haldei Gibson Firebird my friend

  • what a roll back in time just a loving it, miss them here twice sort of pissed off at my wife but well shit happens, may be next time I hope:)

  • Well, it looks like another well known music group has been summoned after appearing at the all magical EVOLVE, let the magic live on.

  • Sounds exactly like Laughing from The Guess Who.

  • They are a great band by all accounts...however his song done on the cbc was way better than the recorded version. This sounds too edited which is the sound they are not and we are thankful for...

  • holy shit lynard skynard is alive

  • I think The Sheepdogs are sweet!! Can't get better then the feel of this style of music. And why is there a division in Canadians? I'm from NWT and there are people from there too who are famous... did I miss something?

  • This is true music right here love this band cant stop listening.

  • They're a Guess Who & BTO tribute band (or ripoff band). Guitar and vocal styles are exactly the same. Frankly, the first time I heard this song, I thought it was a Guess Who song that I didn't know about.

  • @shicrapt oh ya! tribute bands play other bands songs no? idiot

  • @shicrapt Shit, I thought it was The Band.

  • i didnt belive they were from this era, thats pretty cool man.

  • '68 Roadrunner !!!

  • haha first famous people to come from Saskatoon ever, we're so proud

  • @Hithall --> While it is awesome that they are from here (Saskatoon) they aren't the only famous people from Saskatoon. We have produced A LOT of amazing Talent!!!

    - Kim Coates

    - Shannon Tweed

    - Luke Schenn, Darroll Powe, Cam Ward, Brent Ashton (NHL)

    - Gordie Howe (just outside of Saskatoon)

    - Joni Mitchell

  • @janiebug85 What about Brayden Schenn?

  • @Hithall Wide Mouth Mason Toured with AC/DC. Jonie Mitchel also.

  • 30 years. Its about time.

  • @4404spd Needs more cowbell.

  • it the best of the old sounds great rock on !!!!!!!!!!

  • my favourite canadian band

  • This is a good song. Hopefully you do not become one hit wonders when you are known.

Keep up the tunes and have a manager that knows how to promote ya's. I only heard the tune from a friend at work playing it.

  • @robotchicken300 "when you are known" they are known

  • @zackboomer Could have fooled me. I listen to tunes all the time and DJ. I have yet to hear of them by name prior to this.

  • @robotchicken300 oh you probably live in america

  • @zackboomer Actually I dont, even though I would agree with your outcome. I actually DID HEAR the tune today on The Bear Radio in OUR nations capital though. Rock on SheepDogzz.

  • This video should have at least a million views by now. Damn good music.

  • Wicked song & Cool Video.

  • you're 100% deserving of the accolades.... I can't wait to see you in Kingston Dec 7th and know that it's the last tour we'll see you in a small club

  • i was really suprised to see something like this on mtv but fuckin rights im glad some people are keepin the real music alive

  • Wow, I'm surprised that with that thick Saskatchewan accent I can still understand these fine boys! I wish I'd known about them when I still lived in Saskatoon, I would have gone to see them.

  • Saw these guys in Concert!!!

  • Seeing these guys tonight for free. Cant wait!

  • This sounds like countless throwaway jams of garage bands who woudln't actually make a song out of it because it is generic and dated. How this ever became an actual song or minor hit for a band Canadian or not is beyond me.

Lesson of the day: Go ahead and write some generic groove in a 70s music vein and throw some meaningless lyrics on it.. Oh yeah, don't forget about the 70s wardrobe and neckbeards (gotta have those!), and presto, you might actually make it in music!

    *golf claps*

  • @qwertyroffle Are you doing it? Are you now famous? Are you making music that people actually enjoy? No? No one wants to read your jealousy ridden rant so shut the f--- up and let those of who us who like it go back to liking it.

    <3 Thanks.

  • Comment removed

  • @SLDawn Are critics who dislike movies jealous of said movies? No? Your argument is flawed, so please sit down and shut up you retard.

    Oh yeah, and <3.

  • @qwertyroffle trololololol fail

  • @qwertyroffle you know everything cause you're a pretentious asshole. suck a dick.

  • @qwertyroffle Then why have I never heard of you or your band if its that easy? ;)

  • a cross breed between sex and sex

  • Instagram Band....

  • Yes, the 70's were 40 years ago. Just more proof that rock and roll will never die and there will always be REAL talent that comes out of the wood work. All i can say is that I'm proud to support guys like this because they arent the majority of "artists" using auto-tune and computers to make crap "music". Rock on boys!

  • i keep thinking the lead singer is Ryan dunn

  • @Mr99pi just saw them live tonight, totally made me think of Dunn, it was weird.

  • these guys look like a rock band from the 70s, therefore they are a 'real' band...

  • THANKYOU PROJECT RUNWAY!

  • great video, although I like the Woodstock one better.

  • Project Runway season 9 brought me here. I ain't even embarrassed to say that

  • they look like sheep dogs, no wonder they called themselves that... great music though

  • The 70's were 40 years ago guys your late.. But yea i love this band :)

  • Just seen The Sheep Dogs at the MTS Center Winnipeg,Ms opened for KOL .....Lovee your music !!!!! <3 & now watching Under the Cover on Much More Music!! Yeahh!!

  • mmm Canada you taste so good.

  • @jasonsedar ummm, alright.

  • @jasonsedar yes, yes we do!! lol

  • Now, if dat ain't Burton Cummings (The Guess Who) singing lead, I don't know who it is. Saw this group on Project Runway. They were great!!!

  • Project Runway anyone?

  • They came to our town and it was awesome!!

  • This has a good riff to it and a nice sound, but the lyrics to this song are just awful.

CCR, Lynyrd Skynard, Rolling Stones, Guess Who, all had strong song writing abilities. This song was lets get a nice grove and then put the word "I dont know, Tell me" around it and call it a song.

  • @twopie2 i guess your song writing is so much better cause everybody's heard of your band...

  • @twopie2 listen to southern dreaming, they have great songwriting ability, and even if they didn't, structure is half of what makes a song great - lyrics can amplify it. Some of the greatest songs had hardly any lyrics to them. On the other side, I agree with you, because the lyrics are really what turned me off on this song when I first heard it.

  • HOT DOG DOOR

    .....CHIIILIIIIII

  • yah saskatoon boys!

  • I adore Ewan. The End.

  • You guys are delightful~takes me right back to the 70's!! So~so fine!! ; )

  • Ryan is my cousin. :)

  • The one guitarist looks like Devendra Banhart

  • I'm A Believer! I have heard of these rag tag cats before here in Canada... When they got the issue of Rollingstone I figured they where just corporate rock whores with no musical taste-lumping them in with stale rock. Then I heard they where from the prairies and figured they where the next Nickleback. I was dead wrong... They sound like a talented band that listened to mom and dad's Guess Who records! Nice...

  • Very good song, but it's like an unreleased song from Lynyrd Skynyrd. And I don't mean this as a compliment: it shows a bit of immaturity and lack of a real vision. But I'm sure they'll get it along the way. They have potential

  • for a long time i was convinced it was The Guess Who when it played on the radio, love the song!

  • What a great sound...like lynard skynard and CCR's love child...love this

  • this is like the rebirth of crosby stills nash and young :) awesome band

  • This is is nice and all, but it's not new...sorry

  • project runway..love this band...they're really good...

  • thank you project runway for informing me of the existence of this great band

  • This isn't the same version as the one they play on the radio. Must've been re-recorded.

  • Stop treating these guys like they can't do anything for themselves. Sure, they have the groove and styles assosciated with the seventies, but you're selling them as more derivative than they desere to be sold as.

  • Neil Young on Guitar, CSNY on Bass, Guess Who on Drums and Vocals. No't Bad Saskatchewan, Not Bad at all.

  • dislike bar looks like a joint

  • THIS SONG IS SO ANNOYING!!!!

  • Comment removed

  • I hear the Guess Who all over this! Nice for chance!

  • @1970JDL

    That's ridiculous.

  • if you dont like the byz, suck my dickkk.....this is good, kinda 70s....nice change

  • Wow,reminds me of lynyrd skynrd, and 70's style bands, hard to describe music,country/rock with rhythm and blues, just know 1 thing, I love this tune!! Picks my mood right up!! Need more of this kinda music today..,

  • I just saw the Sheepdogs today, they played at my university (Go Werstern!). It was amazing, they put on a great live show, afterwards they signed my CD, it was epic.

  • listening to any canadian radio station since they wont the cover of the rolling stone goes a little something like this: " sheepdogs won the cover of rollingstones heres there song sheepdogs won the cover of rollingstones heres there song sheepdogs won the cover of rollingstones heres there song sheepdogs won the cover of rollingstones heres there song sheepdogs won the cover of rollingstones heres there song sheepdogs won the cover of rollingstones heres there song"

  • @smokemadbong Why would u keep f*cking repeating yourself like that? F*ckin retard, ,just let everyone enjoy this great canadian band and song, what a tool...who gives a fuk what rolling stone thinks anyways..dipstick....

  • @milli446 u mad bro? imagine how i felt listening to it on the radio at work all day long.

  • @smokemadbong I live 3 hours away from where they are from and Ive heard them talk about it one time...

  • @mikeout1234 coinsider your self lucky. there was a day where the edge litterally said that after every single song they played that day. i wanted to shoot my self lol

  • My god the sound is coming back!!!!!

  • love yas..screw the sceptics>>>

  • @1970JDL go listen to your dub step fruit cake

  • @1970JDL Y U Mad tho? I thought it was pretty good, I wouldn't call it "stellar" but it was "pretty good" You don't need to rage, and in fact if you did not like it you could always give them CONSTRUCTIVE criticism in an attempt to help them better their sound. Try to be positive rather than negative.

  • @1970JDL it's a welcome change to the i can almost gaurantee "garbage" you likely listen too. expand your horizons son.

  • 12 people dislike horseshit..

  • Get fucking original.. This is bullshit music.. Done before, done 10x better.. Shut the fuck up...

  • @TheCoronaCorona you wouldnt know good music if it bit you in the ass.. wanker.

  • This song leaves me DAZED AND CONFUSED!

  • Awesome song !

  • sounds like blitzen trapper

  • Long live Canada. Burton and Randy...v2. Great job guys (Winnipegger at heart)

  • just wish the local radio hadn't killed this song by playing it once an hour on the hour...

what else do they have?... i'm waiting.

  • Bass player is playing a Rick....Love it...

  • Awesome,,,,,,a modern day 70's rock band.......kinda sound like old Skynard....

  • @vagasduke i was thinking the same thing. almost like modern creedence or skynard. wicked tune

  • @vagasduke Agreed!
