well, i've been using that phrase alot since then, often as an in-joke to myself, but just as often when i discover music such as this: hope, coltrane, mobley, byrd, chambers, jones--what else is there to say? I believe!!
I am the daughter of the late St. Elmo Sylvester Hope. This is a lovely selection featuring historically iconic jazz musicians, including my father who died too soon. To whoever posted this, I thank you from the bottom of my heart.
