I am so jealous of all you ladies with foundations that work. Urgh, I've been trying a couple and my skin is just so dry and flaky. Any recommendations? I'm taking Nars Sheer Glow for a test drive with a sample I got, but it just ends up looking cakey and flaky.

Don't take this the wrong way but I like that your makeup is "slightly abused". After watching some youtube gurus I was beginning to think that hitting pan was forbidden and people just kept buying new items for the sake of hauls without really using them. When I buy something I force myself to use it; I may tuck it away for awhile but I come back to it again and again. Otherwise its serious buyers remorse and I hate going down that road!
@LisaMQ1 hahaha, abused! Poor things! I do make sure I use everything - and if I'm not using it, it goes into a blog sale. Even if I love it and it feels like losing a limb to sell it - I can't keep stuff I'll never use! I just cannot stand having deadweight around, you know? :)
@camiloveskiwi yes, deadweight not good. It's also helpful to have sisters to lend things to being that I tend to be more adventurous color-wise and have a little more change to spare these days then the two. In a way I'm helping others...but really I'm just helping me buy more bc of my limited space...drat. BTW I put up my first ( and lonely haha) video up on the ysl stains. If you feel like checking it out, feel free! I'd be honored! Just don't laugh too hard :)

I broke mine awhile back...still use it, but I forgot how beautiful it was whole. :P Kind of pathetic, I know, but it can't be helped. Wait...I lied. I didn't break it, my cat did. Figures, she knocked several makeup items onto the floor, the only thing that broke was my by candelight..the dollar ELF products were totally fine. *sigh*

@starrzx0 Neither! MY absolute favourite is the Macadamia Healing Oil Treatment, it's so wonderful, lasts forever and leaves my hair really soft :) My Lipstain Marker is in Tomorrow's Coral - it's a shade Kiwi picked out :)
I seen you had some skin cremes for eczema so im guessing you suffer from it as well as myself. How do you feel the illamasqua skin base works with skin affected by eczema?
@TheJodihawick I am! Mainly on my hands and wrists and my right cheek, it used to be much, much worse but it's now just localised. I feel that Skin Base works okay with it - I mean, I have never found a perfect foundation which works with my dry flaky flare-ups seamlessly, but Skin Base is one of the better ones as it's moisturising. I also really like Face Atelier for those sort of days :)

I was eagerly awaiting their Spring collection, which came out here early Jan. So I've already picked up the Meteorites Cruel Gardenia (very pretty) & the 4 ecrin palette in 12 Les Aqua(haven't used yet). I've not been thorough in looking over all the offerings so I don't know if there's a blush. If it had been @ my counter I'd have most likely picked it up. Anyway, I'm still tempted by the pink rouge G & refillable mascara! xo! : )

@DelBvn Yes, everything definitely gets used! I had a series of huge clear-outs, where I got rid of all my MSFs and limited edition blushes that I just was hoarding for no reason - so although I have a lot, I do use everything :) x

My favourite 3 off the top of my head right now are Bourjois Healthy Mix Serum, MUFE Face and Body, and FACE atelier Ultra foundation, but it may well change in a couple of weeks! @somethingforsam Tricky. I think Illamasqua Morale stays the longest that I can remember - it's definitely one that sticks out as having great wear. I'm looking forward to trying the Tarte Amazonian Clay ones soon, and seeing how they wear on my skin :) I love the Becca ones too, they wear really well :)

@LauraLovesBeautyX It's kind of funny, because I hardly had any a couple of months ago. I have 4 which are right at the end, but none of them seem to ever get done! And I have 2 Illamasqua Skin Bases because they shade-matched me badly and then sent a replacement to apologise for their mistake! I don't know where they all come from :( Dino tin is from Emma Bridgewater a couple of years ago, Kiwi got it for me :) x

@missmascara1983 Mine was an original release Stereo Rose from 1996, and I hunted high and low for it. The day I got it, my hands slipped as I was examining it after unwrapping it, it fell on my coffee table and smashed :( To be fair, I don't like Stereo Rose as much as I thought I would! The new Chanel... It's good. It's not like OMG YAY. It makes my skin look quite dry, which is really weird, and I have combination/oily skin! Wears nicely, looks great on bar dry bits though...

@jsutkissmyfrog Lilac Pastelle was discontinued?! I have a spare one lurking around somewhere, I'm sure of it - you can have it! I will never get around to using it as I'm not big on lipglosses, so I certainly don't need a spare one lurking about! I will send it to you if you just shove your address over :) The Greasepaint sticks are pretty cool, I use them to smudge in my outer v and they just provide a really nice base, or just on their own. Also a great base. x
@sk8terac It is the Glamcor Micro Finish brush! A friend gave it to me, it's wonderful. Like a teeny weeny duo-fibre, works really nicely with concealer :) I hope your skin gets better soon :(

I was eagerly awaiting their Spring collection, which came out here early Jan. So I've already picked up the Meteorites Cruel Gardenia (very pretty) & the 4 ecrin palette in 12 Les Aqua(haven't used yet). I've not been thorough in looking over all the offerings so I don't know if there's a blush. If it had been @ my counter I'd have most likely picked it up. Anyway, I'm still tempted by the pink rouge G & refillable mascara! xo! : )

My favourite 3 off the top of my head right now are Bourjois Healthy Mix Serum, MUFE Face and Body, and FACE atelier Ultra foundation, but it may well change in a couple of weeks! I'd repurchase those 3 in a heartbeat, though :)

@somethingforsam Tricky. I think Illamasqua Morale stays the longest that I can remember - it's definitely one that sticks out as having great wear. I'm looking forward to trying the Tarte Amazonian Clay ones soon, and seeing how they wear on my skin :) I love the Becca ones too, they wear really well :)

And I have 2 Illamasqua Skin Bases because they shade-matched me badly and then sent a replacement to apologise for their mistake! I don't know where they all come from :( Dino tin is from Emma Bridgewater a couple of years ago, Kiwi got it for me :) x

@missmascara1983 Mine was an original release Stereo Rose from 1996, and I hunted high and low for it. The day I got it, my hands slipped as I was examining it after unwrapping it, it fell on my coffee table and smashed :( To be fair, I don't like Stereo Rose as much as I thought I would! The new Chanel... It's good. It's not like OMG YAY. It makes my skin look quite dry, which is really weird, and I have combination/oily skin! Wears nicely, looks great on bar dry bits though...

I will never get around to using it as I'm not big on lipglosses, so I certainly don't need a spare one lurking about! I will send it to you if you just shove your address over :) The Greasepaint sticks are pretty cool, I use them to smudge in my outer v and they just provide a really nice base, or just on their own. Also a great base. x
