my dog does that too but he's not a golden retreiver. its shows that they are comfortable because that's a very vulnerable position to be in. so she feels safe enough to do that, congrats!

I have a dead ringer for this dog -- a needle-nosed golden retriever -- and he sleeps the same exact way on the couch. Quite amazing. Actually, my dog's nose is red, I guess that's how we can tell them apart if they ever get loose together in a furniture store.
