Secondly, Cannabis has been used for thousands of years recreationally. Its roots trace back to Hindu texts from 2,000 BCE. "Cool" hasn't been around that long. So that renders your arguement moot.
Thirdly, THC shows NO signs of being PHYSICALLY addictive even after decades of research. Mental addiction is also far lower then most other drugs.
