I think this vehicle in the video was a SR-71 Blackbird top speed of the Blackbird was Mach 3.12 maybe greater with improvements to the engines. The size of the SR-71 is about twice the size of the MIG. Also this film seems to be of the same era as that of the time when the Blackbird operated over Russia. Secondly film seem to be really pixelated.
"Declassified Soviet Government material". The video shows 3 Russian Mig 21s taking off. Then from 16-43 seconds you see the inside of the cockpit intercepting a UFO. Here comes the problem. The ejector seat does not belong to a Mig 21! This ejector seat is an american made model ACES-II which is designed by McDonnel Douglas. The cockpit belongs to an F15 or F16!

watched it for the 3rd time now and i am convinced it is the shadow of an aircraft changing direction in such a way that the angle of it in relation to the clouds cause it to give an illusion of acceleration while it is actually only the shadow that accelerates and not the original object that is casting the shadow
the narrator says we re looking at a cylindrical shaped object while to me we are only seeing a shadow of such an object, it still an accelerating object but too bad we cant see the real thing that casts this shadow

Its stock footage. The camera is fixed, its just like a squad car camera... there to show what happens for reviewing. The zooming in at the end of the video was a sectional "enhancement" zoom to section off and enlarge the object. Not an actual camera man zooming in.
Secondly, there seems to be no record of the blackbirsd acceleration rate that I can find, probably still classified.
