frame is copy from old defender but engine is indestructible engine from small trucks that iveco made the same engine is used in6,5ton trucks and big vans for profesional use and its extremly durable and far far better than defender for around 30000eu you have very durable vehicle that will work for years and will easy make 500000km so dont compare it to other fancy soft crap
Ho ho ho, my very first series build Landrover 110 stationwagon (1983, '-2AA-' in chassis, rear axle: the prototype different shock positions, regular 110's are different). As 1st owner it reads today 538000 km (half million plus) on the tacho. The original V8 is retired into MG sportscar and is very well above 250k, 200Tdi is well above 350k still using 1liter oil per 4000km, and it has enjoyed its Ups & Downs. I grew up in Series I, II, IIa abroad.
your astra hasn't got a frame chassis, all off road cars have got a frame chassis, the ones that hasn't got it are simply useless, they break down in a few minutes
i know what a frame chassis is..and wtf my car is an opel astra :)) all i've said is that iveco shoult have made this car better! you don't sell a 4x4 (not a suv!!! a real offroader!) whithout any protection underneath!! this car is ment to be a rival to the defender!! and it is'nt equipped with what my FWD 1.7 cdti opel astra is :))
guys, this is basically a santana (which is a copy of landrover) with a big iveco truck engine, and a face lift. the quivelent of a series 3 v8 landy basically.

what an ugly pile of crap, cant compare that shit to a Defender

@Ramon25D
but it is a defender, only with a new grille and headlights, and a way better engine. As a matter of fact, any other
engine than a landrover is always far more better, because brits can't built reliable engines.
