Hansbrough great player, love his choice to stay at UNC and graduate but I dont' think he will be an all start pro probably more of a 6th man in my opinion.

As for the pick before him at number 12 Gerald Henderson awesome job at Duke but shoulda stayed at Duke another year then he would be more prepared to go pro I see it taking both Tyler and Gerald 2-3 years of bad seasons to get the hang of proffessional ball

i am a huge unc fan. i do think hansbrough is a talented player- no arguements.. but at the same time i always felt he was a little overrated and that ty lawson was an all around better player- i think tyler will have a similar career to wally szcerbiak- he will be very consistant but probably never the star player of the team

Really? And what position will he play? Too small for a power forward and too inconsistent on his jumper for a small forward. Decent athleticism, but won't wow people with it. He has a great motor though and an outstanding work ethic. He'll be a decent player, maybe 10 years in the league, 5 year starter. He'll be lucky if he makes an all-star team.

He will play power foward, duh!!! Elton Brand is the same size as Tyler and Tyler was better than him in college. So, he can play power foward in the NBA. Too inconsisten??? I can tell you didn't watch no UNC's games because Tyler got a good jumpshot. He had shot 51% from the field.

Elton Brand was good as hell in college, but Tyler is the all time scoring leader in ACC's history. So, Tyler was better than Elton in college. Heartbroker??? Bruh, I'm a UNC's basketball fan and I can care less, Tyler do anything in the NBA. I wish him the best of luck, but I can care less, lol.

Nope, he was better than Brand because he dominated the ACC since day 1. Brand didn't do that, so Hansbrough was better than Brand. Tyler is the ACC's all time scoring leader and he will keep that record forever, nobody will take that from him.

@Domini478 He chucks the ball and throws errand passes. The only reason why he's the starting power forward is becuase the Pacers other power forwards are not that good either. There are other power forwards around the league that are not even starters and they're much better PF's than Hansborough. I can care less about college hoops. College hoops has a bunch of busters where only 5%, if even that, make the NBA. NBA over college any day.

Do you know that high school players can't go straight to the NBA anymore? You have to be 19 years old to enter the Draft. Alot of players that has enter the draft are college players since 2006 year.

@Domini478 The reason why he can't score alot is because he sucks at shooting the ball. You know what the opposing defense do against Hansborugh? They let him shoot. And he misses more shots than he makes outside of the paint. I've known that for while about the high schoolers. But that being said, a lot of them are usually one and done in college and go straight for the NBA. Some opt to stay for several reasons, one of which is knowing what thier draft stock is at.

Dude, did you say Tyler was inconsistent in college? Which Tyler Hansbrough were you watching in college? He was the most consistent 4 year college player I have seen in a long long time. He won the National Championship. You can't win that if you're not consistent. He developed a solid & consistent jump shot in his senior which enabled him bang less in the paint. His JS also kept his defenders honest to guard him outside. Stop being bias. He's very good & you know it too.
