Siren & Silent Hill are both the best horrors..Resident Evil sucks, going up to a group of zombies with a rocket launcher and blowing all their heads off is not scary. they are action games

Siren is in no way better than Silent Hill. I can't even believe there are people out there that think so. Silent Hill is the ultimate scarefest of any survival horror game series.

@SilentHill201 i have never played siren,but i can tell you that it may be scarier,but it won't be better.silent hill was never "scary".it freaks you out in a psychlogical sence.sh was based on the art work of frances bacon,a man who in his paintings tryd to fuse pain and darkness in to reality and make it seam very natural.and sh captures his imagination perfectly.where as siren is obviusly just here to scare you.

@SilentHill201 There are people who think so because it is. Silent Hill is extremely creepy, but not quite as much as Siren is. I love all thee 'big' games, RE, SH, CT, HG, and Siren, (and several of the 'smaller' ones, like Extermination) but Siren's the only one to keep me tense and scared *constantly* in the entire Survival Horror genre.

i sold it before i beat it when i was younger..i really regret it..maybe i can play it again on the emulator...so is siren for the ps3 the sequel to this?seen it on gamespot and i think it is.

There was a sequel that got released in the UK and Japan for the PS2, so no. While I don't know where the PS3 Siren fits in since I haven't played any of the games, it isn't the sequel to the US Siren.

Siren:Blood Curse is a remake of the original Siren. Though, I don't think you should get it on a count that its just really sucky compared to this one. See if you can find the ps2 version on ebay or find a good used copy at a video game store or something like that. I SERIOUSLY did not like Siren:Blood Curse at ALL.

You can get Blood Curse only on the Playstation Network. Its divided in episodes, 1-12 for 40$. Like I said its not very good. :(

i dont have a ps3 yet but once it gets more games id like thats only on ps3 i will..thats weird..episodes?lol.ill just download siren and play it on my emulator..i probably will play siren blood curse just to see how it is and maybe the price will go down.

no it about 10 survivors on a cursed village trying to escape and if they touch the red water they become zombie creatures called shibito's

Dude a shibito is the infected in translation Zombies. The story is about people trying to escape an infected village. There are no weapons to kill, only to stun. So it's pretty hard just like Clock tower series.

Don't worry once(if)you play it you don't even notice the accents anymore and the second game they have new voices(at least kyoya does).and to ny1493 this is hardly like silent hill I mean there are similarity's but it's quite different(it's made by the same people) it's fun and the characters are great.
