@gorillaconna Yes, asian style does exist. Most of the styles that Americans have today originally came from the East. Which is Asia and Europe. I've been over to the Asian countries before, and when I shopped over there, they have totally new and different styles that I've never seen before.

It's just like trading and bringing in new culture like back in history, how would you know if it wasn't the westerners who were influenced by us asians? Also we do not claim the peace sign as ours. @gorillaconna Yeah and what you call the punky hairstyle im pretty sure actually came from asia because some (not all) asians tend to have thin hair, (some of my aunts do) and those "punky" hairstyles often incorporate hairspray/gel or teasing which gives the illusion of volume. and just cuz it looks good. so the real question here is, does the western style even exist? or is it just a diverse mix of other cultures, and then we claim that it is ours?

It also drew roots from genres like classical, gospel, and even folk.then theres those other cultures that put their own twist to it, like for example Rai Rock is from Algeria. it combines their Rai(type of folk) music and Rock. even though theres folk influences, its still under the genre of rock. Rock is not all British.
