I have this phone. It's going back as soon as I can get a replacement. No external storage, no ability to use Office, no Active Sync, unable to get contacts onto the phone unless I put them on the Web. And no ringtones, no ability to change screens, no wallpaper, no customization. I can't work with this thing, and I don't have time to play.

I hope it changes in the future.

Any OEM can take it and put it on a crappy 600Mhz processor and 128 megs of ram...(motorola backflip...hem) With WP7, every phone is basically the same with the minimum requirements

From what I've been reading, WP7 is really, really good.  Plus, it's easier to upgrade than android, so your phone will always be up to date. Well designed, simplistic interface, too. While it's still young, it has all the pieces in place to be a great mobile operating system. And yes, it's entirely different than Apple/android. I'm not going to explain it here, but they are very different.
