  • Please don't use themicrowave, it will kill the enzymes:(

  • I cant stand the low fat craze.

  • I made a batch and it turned out way too moist. I kept the bars in the freezer but it did not help. They can be left out for no more than 2-3min and they melt into a goop.

Make a bowl of oatmeal, add some fruit and scoop of protein powder and get on with your life. Nice try but it really was a waste of...everything.

  • I made these they are good. I used something called sunbutter instead of PB. I used pumpkin seeds vs almonds and cut the whey in half. My calories came up to 1859 for the whole batch, divided in 10 it's 186 a bar :). Thank you for this recipe, great for when you miss breakfast.

  • I'm hungry now.

  • What happened to this guy? Did he die? He hasn't posted a video in a year.

  • I had one for breakfast this morning. I added a bit extra to mine (1/4 cup of coconut and 2 tbsps flax seed), I also used honey instead of the agave nectar and soymilk instead of almond milk. Everything else was the exact same as yours. They came out amazing! They didn't harden in 20 minutes, but by the morning, they were perfect for cutting. Thanks again!

  • shit.. i thought the cat was part of the recipe..

  • Thanks for the video. My girlfriend made them and they taste amazing!!!!!

  • @TheJodi2011 haha; you beat me to that comment XD

  • You Shouldnt Put The Video Recorder In The Microwave:-P

  • Does anyone know how long these would last? Mine are made and in the fridge, but after calculating the calories of the ones I made, I am definitely limited to one a day or every second day. Do you think they would last two or even three weeks? Or is three weeks pushing it?...

  • I am so excited to make these! Thanks for making this video! I am going to make them right now, and will get to try one in the morning--I am hoping they turn out as good as yours!

  • how much peanut butter? you don't say in the video - do you have a link to the recipe or can you post the recipe details in the description, please? p.s. love casper.

  • @antioxidantfruits Two or three tablespoons works fine

  • @antioxidantfruits Yeah I noticed this too :( I am just going to use a 1/4 cup and hope that works.

  • Does the oak need to be cook

  • Mirin the fridge contents bro

  • 4 stars - wouldve been 5 with nutrition facts or just a general idea of macronutrients. Either way, great vid, gonna make these tomorrow. :)

  • Loved the camera angle from the microwave! Just made these and used mixed berry protein powder and Hershey's unsweetened coco powder... I had to make an extra bowl of the liquid mixture to fully coat the dry mixture (used half). Tasted great, thanks for sharing!

  • LoL you talk like aldo the apache xD

  • Will Quaker oat work it's whole grain

  • @bigboy6969100 Yeah, I tend to use quaker oats for all my protein bars being that oatmeal is not always availible.

I never measure anything either... I just make sure its all gooey.. then I form it into bars! Happy Days

  • Try with nutella its all I had and dried cherries. Bomb ass tho thanks for idea

  • dude thumbs up for the camera angles. even had one in the microwave.

  • that's way delicious.. hey dude does it gives protein to my extra testicle's when i burst it into females mouth the way they swallow it?

  • i just made these.. they are amazing

  • Do you have nutrition fact on these?

  • all that healthy stuff and ruin it buy nuking it!?

  • the soy issue IS conclusive, its 90% GMO. which is waay worse than boosting estrogen

  • love that u included the cat!! too cute! :)

  • awesome

  • How much Protein is in one of these?

  • If you bake these will they come out crispy or do you need to add or take away ingredients?

  • Or you can take a shake.

  • i Love it! I made a batch without protein powder for my son and he loved it too!

  • This is the second time I'm making them they're awesome :)

  • Super! Your DIY protein bars are the best!

I was so lost searching for ready ones here in germany. All are packed with preservatives and artificial flavours ... Not anymore! :)

  • adorable! I love when guys actually read up on health instead of just MA WHERE'S MY FUCKIN PROTEIN SHAKE you're a good man!

  • The look awesome. Will be trying. Thank you.

  • what song is playing from 1-10 seconds? )

  • @KikMikFik Four Year Strong - Tonight We Feel Alive :)

  • @PianoManCallum Thank you very very much )))

  • Absolutely amazing taste! Mine has not set properly so im gonna use as desert with sugar free custard. Not sure why but i shall CERTAINLY be making another batch.. that nectar stuff is amazing! Got some flax seed to add.....mmmm.

  • Nice!

  • Looks great, will try the recipe (as well as the almond milk. )

How did the camera do after the microwave?

    I'm starving now.

  • @Gunzshow55312 The scene was staged. I actually like the trick he made. I learned a new shooting a video scene. :)

  • @s1mpl3k1d Thanks, I was just trying to be funny but it didn't work. Those protein bars are awesome. Made two batches since yesterday, one batch raisins the second was cranberries. Both equally tasty.

  • I have made these twice now, man are they tasty!!! I am concerned about all the sugar, but they taste so good!

  • Did the cat get a piece?

  • Thanks for the video.

I'll try your recipe this week.

I can not stand to eat chicken for lunch. hehehe

    Hugs from Brazil here.

  • Thanks for the video. I made these bars the other day, and they taste very good. I used unflavoured 100% whey instead (bought at the bulk store), since it doesn't contain all the artificial sweeteners, artificial flavours, and all the preservatives that flavoured whey powders contain.

  • 1:51 looks like a ..... well you know...

  • @v8power101 No.

  • Just made a batch of these, they look good! In the fridge right now...

You never said how much peanut butter... I put in 1/2 cup

  • i don't trust any man who owns a cat

  • thats fucking delicious

  • These look amazing!! I can't wait to give them a try. Thanks for posting it. My only complain is that Casper should have been featured more... I thought he couldn't wait to get his paws on them??

  • It's 2012 and scientifically illiterate "health-conscious" imbecile meatheads are still afraid of microwaves and radiation while simultaneously watching and commenting on videos over the internet and being bathed in radio waves coming from multiple wireless routers, laptops, and smart phones. Many of whom would love to make a cross-country flight and be exposed to far more harmful ionizing radiation just to beat my knowledge-dropping ass.

    You're too stupid to live.

  • I have prepared our recipe three times and it is delicious! I gave a piece to some co-workers and they loved it as well, they ask why I don't start selling them! Thank you very much for this great recipe, it is not only delicious but very very healthy and full of good protein!

  • Its funny you say your all natural, and thats great .But you natural guys will shovel anything into your mouths that comes in a colorful bottle IE supplements.Almost none of them are FDA approved ,but because its in a fancy bottle you guys figure fuck it,it cant hurt me.Wake up dude.

  • @baseballbro1000

These are perfect for weight loss. Bulk vs cut, only difference is calorie requirements and the addition of cardio. I think these are perfect either way

  • Looks Good

  • You try eating healthy using a microwave ?

  • Microwave? didn't you killed about 1\4 nutriotion value?

  • OMG!!! looks so good! I like them the way you made them...I sure will try'em! thanks !

  • Looks good but why would you put it in the microwave and alter all that beautiful food

  • Is it cheaper to make your own protein bars or to buy in bulk?

  • you got to be kidding me, i dont even have time to pack my lunch lol

  • i will skip the agave, substitute blackcurrants for cran (cran is sweetened with sugar. blackcurrants are natural & smaller, they distribute evenly in the mixture & you'll have blackcurrants in every bite), substitute water for almond milk(its so little, it doesnt contribute much to your health like lowering down bad cholestrol and stuff), i prefer blending a peeled and cored green apple to dump in the mixture instead, substitute the chocolate chips with virgin coconut oil and cocoa powder, yeah

  • Thanks for the video. Looks, good, but I'll change this a little bit. I would not recommend all of the fructose that is being used, that is not good for the body. Also, make sure the protein is plant based, all of that animal based protein is not good for the body. I'd also change the peanut butter to another nut butter. Add some chia seeds too.

  • How much peanut butter do you use? You never mentioned the amount.

  • @CatherineGalat i tried out this recipe with 1/4 cup pb. turned out great.

  • i like it

  • that looks really good!!!

  • Heey! I love see a guy cooking! Great recipe and a lovely kitten, too:) You rock - keep up! ;)

  • Agree with using almond milk to negate the lactose. But u negate THAT by using whey. May try egg white protein powder.

  • Nice!!! thanks!!!

  • have you got any suggestions to replace the nut products in the bars? for those who have nut allergies

  • @paullusty if i can weigh in:

substitute puffed quinoa/rice, and sacha inchi seeds if you can find them. the best alternatives for those of us who have substantial allergy.

i also use dates instead of the almond butter.

  • How much peanut butter do you use?

  • whats the nutrition value to theses?

  • Just made these, they taste awesome, and are quite filling , thanks !

  • When do those expire?

  • @7Fudd i think its safe to say whenever the milk expires if you keep them in the fridge since that probably has the closest expiration date

  • Thanks for the video!!! Do you have the macronutrient breakdown for the way you made it in the video?

  • how many calories in one bar

  • Can someone convert the measuremens into grams or ounces atleast. I´m from Germany and can just find conversions of the cup-measurements for like flour or sugar, but what´s with oats, honey or protein powder? Thank you.

  • Comment removed

  • i personally wouldnt use this if loosing weight BUT you could make the bars smaller so a smaller calorie count, these would be great for building mass.

As for not being healthy in terms of all natural i think these are top notch, considering most bars you buy use artifical sugar or sugar alchohol

  • Love the recipe GC - thanks mate

  • These look good, but I would probably eat these if I had a high metabolism. So I will pass, but they do.look yummy.

  • @alw7 they are so good . I ate the entire batch in 2 days.

  • any ways too make it less gooey ?

  • @XxXxVALENTIxXxX less honey

  • HOLY SHIT! What's the caloric intake on this? 600 calories in 2 cups of oatmeal, 435 in the Myofusion protein powder, SEVEN HUNDRED AND SIXTY in peanut butter...480 in the honey...and it goes on and on. I just made some of these up and they taste EXCELLENT but at 390 a bar, I hope it fills ya up. WOW!

  • @fedexval no shit if your gonna use skippy and other high calorie products wow thats alot of calories in that Myofusion i don't know if i would consider using it........ try Myotein.

  • I'm gonna have to call BS on the healthiest protein bar for sure its like making a no bake cookie with protein and a few healthy items (mainly the almonds & protein) and I'm not just hatin cuz i made them and yea there good but definitely not the healthiest

  • @baseballbro1000 are you delusional? Oats=very healthy. Protein = pretty healthy , no fat. Almond milk= very healthy if you get the non vanilla. Dark chocolate= can be heqlthy in average amounts. almonds=very heqlthy. PB=very healthy fats , get the natural kind. Honey= very healthy. I would not eat these of course if you trying to lose weight. but all the ingredients are very healthy

  • @popper504 the only reason i'd disagree is that peanut butter and almonds are loaded with pro-inflammatory omega-6 fa's, which aren't the best for post-lifting recovery, and exacerbate my joint injury and crohn's. plus, honey is mostly fructose, which is a crappy sugar to consume on it's own.

  • @popper504 curious as to why you wouldn't eat these if trying to lose weight...makes no sense...calories in vs calories out

  • @akaotherwise simply because it is a very high calorie dense meal.

  • @baseballbro1000 fuck u fag

  • the macros are hard to count when the whey was measured in cups

  • And nutrition value?

  • @yaan87 Are you serious. You saw everything he put in it. Add it up. Its definitly better than most of the bars you buy.

  • How many calories a bar?

  • just made these, really really good! tasted good, and was very easy to make, switched it up to vanilla almond milk for a little more kick

  • i made these last night. awesome. my kids love them too. thanks for the recipe GC!

  • what can I use instead of the apple sauce?

  • Does your protein powder have soy in it? I don't do soy for the estrogen reason you mentioned. Thanks.

  • Anyone figure out the breakdown of each bar's nutritional value?

  • Pretty tasty bars. I just made my second batch and added a couple Tbsp of fresh ground flax seeds for added fiber and omegas. They taste awesome, and they should for having pretty high sugar content. But fiber content is also really high so that should offset the glycemic index some, I hope.

  • I have the same protein but strawberry flavour... if I try it would it worth in taste? or I need only chocolate flavour.... and something else ... Is this recomended for the period im trying to shape my body???

  • wow this is surprisingly simple

  • Sounds like a ton of sugar.. why aren't you a fatty

  • just a note you dont need to have all this stuff oats, peanut butter, protein powder and milk is all you need

    all that stuff is pointless

  • How come just mine fall apart? is there anything i should add an extra amount of? It's really annoying. plz reply.

  • @IIExeyII did you put them in the fridge for awhile first?

  • @kingv911 Yeah. for 30 mins at least

  • @IIExeyII hmm. Mine turned out nicely both times. Easy to cut into bar form and hold it's shape firmly. Did you add too much peanut butter, milk, or honey?

  • @kingv911 I think they pretty much fall apart from the lack of wet ingredienses. They are dry and turn into crumbs.

  • @IIExeyII Mine turned out awesome, they are moist. I keep them in the fridge and cover with plastic. You must have done something wrong because mine look just like the ones in the video and they don't lose any quality over the three days or so a batch has lasted me.

  • Me and my mom made these, they were pretty good. But they were very sticky and hard to handle, there werent much 'bar' about them.

  • song?

  • These are about 300 calories each (1/8) and about 3 times the amount of sugar vs protein... STAY AWAY!!

  • How much protein per bar ?

  • hey they taste great...my problem is how to hide them from my family

  • You talk extremely weird.

  • Western doctors need to deal with the fact that your body and mind are all one system. To say otherwise is false. Kind of like saying drugs AND alcohol.

  • easier to add the dry mix to the wet ;)

  • @gabsmabs62 that's the same thing I've noted:) 3:31 - he should insert the powdery mash into the liquid mash:) He didn't even use the spoonful to scoop out the rest of mash. So he wasted a half of it?

  • How many calories per bar the way you sliced them?

  • Love the cat.

  • worried about soy but cooking in a microwave oven? hmm.

  • @TheEarth789 Microwave ovens don't do any harm what so ever.

  • Made these yesterday with water instead of milk. Great big thumbs up, cheers NATURALGC

  • what could i use instead of peanut butter im alergic to peanuts??

  • @CallOfDutyMedia1000 cashew butter or almond butter?

  • BEST PROTEIN BAR YET! I've tried alot of professional protein bars, and ALOT of these homemade ones off youtube, this one is the best. Love them.

  • @wolfwatcher25 Might be worth mentioning that I make mine with 90+ Chocolate Whey Protein Isolate, Raisins, almonds, low fat skimmed milk and natural honey. They are awesome. I'm making more tomorrow!

  • Does anyone know what the nutritional info of one bar is from this? If you copy it exactly and divide into 8 bars? Protein:Carb:Fat

  • CAN YOU WRİTE THE materials to use. becausue i dont understand you plesase write?

  • Made these the other day.. Little bit stodgy out of the fridge for my tastes.. I popped them into the oven to bake for 15 minutes and they were very nice!

  • My friend had made this and recommended it to me, her kids really seem to love it, too. It's REALLY tasty and I'm able to keep on my healthy track still. Thanks for sharing!

  • I'm not even a weight lifter and these bars look good to me! I'm a survivalist so I doubt these would work for me in the wilderness though. Well maybe for the first few days! :)

  • 1/4 cup peanut butter.

  • Just made my first batch of these. Only a couple of small alterations. Really tasty. Best I've made. Will be making them again soon!

  • @12343216488 it doesnt have to be exact
