theres a poem about a war photographer that Carol Ann Duffy wrote. of the lines are (its an enjambled poem, so the whole quote mgith nto make complete sence):

The only reall way anyones going to realise whats happening i these ars of some someone to get visual edivence of it so it hits hme better. It's sad, but it needs to be done.

the song has great meaning and it relates to everybody, no not because everybody has been in a war, but because of the human effect it has we all have our flaws and we accept that, as individuals we may be kind and caring but as a species were destructive manipulating or "evil" we strive for the best but dont account for the reaction that follows and because of this our world has become a darkened place of death and destruction what caused this reaction predates before records but we its there.

I respect that you have the right to your point of view. I even think it's okay that you can be shown photographic evidence of human monstrosity in many forms and still believe that it is justifiable.
Certainly, not all war or conflict is avoidable. However, that is no reason to downplay man's inhumanity to man.
