Well, this is not KARATE, but "Taekwon Do" as Supercucu123 suggests. It's Korean martial arts and they dont use hands for attack (....so far as I know). Im Japanese karate player and dont know much about Taekwon Do, but I like how they look like. Its really acrobatic and cool!

I think it depends; in a Vale Tudo fight where grappling is legal moving forward would have been the best action, as it stood I could see him misjudging his opponent's range and thinking he was safe.

This is TKD. I can guarantee it. it's the most retarded sport MA out there. Besically, you can't hit to the head with your hands, but as hard as you want with your feet, and you have to drop your hands and let them kick you in the body if they want. Pointless. IMO, Karate is better and more practical. That being said, this kid should be sued, and then should go learn some control. That was a poor kick.
